[It's very rare for Eustace to not have his guard up even while asleep, but it was such an unusual set of circumstances that he does remain so, his arm only tightening around Tifa as he continues to treat her like he would Valo.

And that includes sleepily nuzzling his face into the top of her head with a low murmur.]
