[Despite everything Alhaitham still is and perhaps will never be one for events and festivities. The same however cannot be said for Kaveh, who continues to take to each and everyone of them like a duck to water. And as much as he will never admit it outloud, Alhaitham's desire to stay indoors with his books is always all too easily triumphed by the desire to have Kaveh close by at any given moment.
So he is here, in spite of his own preferences, and is in fact in the middle of returning from an errand Kaveh had chased him off to do (he wants so many shells. all of the shells, even) when he spots the... strange girl... looking at a trash can with a very contemplative expression. And while its far from the first time where Alhaitham has encountered the strange and inexplicable in his time here thus far, somebody looking at what is frankly an overflowing trash can is certainly something.
He doesn't say anything, but he does slow down his steps a little to see if anything is going to happen. It'll be a story to tell Kaveh when he gets back, at the very least.]
