Daqiang slowed to a stop and when he had done so, turned to look back over his shoulder at the voice calling for him. The crowd being as it was, and his strength being so low, it was difficult for him to tell the various spiritual presences apart. The usual background 'noise' to his senses were now something of a cacophony that the was mostly trying to ignore.
With Rem's voice being hoarse, he also did not immediately recognize that she was the one calling for him. A weary blink and a long scan of the crowd before his eyes settled on her belied his exhaustion far more than even his appearance. But when he did see her, he turned fully, swaying a little as someone knocked into his shoulder, but otherwise managing to stay stable on his feet.
"Rem," he greeted simply with a nod, eyes looking her over when she was close enough. "Are you injured?"
