Daqiang followed at an easy pace, eyes scanning the alleyways they passed and finding they were either empty or being emptied by more of those volunteers. While Daqiang had not witnessed much in the way of organization prior to the tsunami hitting, in it's aftermath there seemed to be an understanding in the way the mortals moved to help each other.

"They move like they're soldiers in a war," he murmured as they drew closer to the clinic and the sound of people shouting orders and directing others could now be heard more clearly. "After the battlefield has gone silent and breath is being held in waiting to see if the enemy will break the truce while wounds are bound and the injured counted."
