That I have yet to observe- the prey does seem to vanish after a while, but cannot be found again after.

[Unless some other creature helped them escape, and they could be found with the signs of that, but- well. It was still so very puzzling.]

There are, of course, the territorial ones as well. Very aggressive and attack anything that comes within sight- even those like us that will charge at, or fire upon.
