[ By violence, Sherlock mostly means blood or other bodily fluids. No smells to suggest someone buried in the walls or under the floor as a means to hide the bodies. Sherlock frowns as he catches himself assuming that the aim of the artist was to cause grave harm. He needs to keep an open mind, not guess.
