[ It really shouldn't come as a surprise to see a very red cat strolling around Eltrut. It even has a little scarf about its neck. G'raha had wanted to see if the spell actually worked.
It does.
But apparently he is going to spend his time just basking in the wonderful sunlight. Snoozing. Looks like he is about to get some much needed rest!

[ G'raha has everything that is needed for this little joint adventure. Parchment. Writing utensils. A compass. Even current star maps. He seems a little excited for this, apparently bringing snacks and a blanket along. ]
I wouldn't say that this is a particular skill of mine, charting the stars and all. Or cartography, for that matter. Yet the idea of new stars appearing in the sky is exciting, is it not? To think that, somewhere, a something new has been born brings about a sense of hope.
[ At least it does for him. How can anyone refute it, with the way his tail swishes and the gleam in his eye. Really, he just wants to look at stars like the helpless romantic sort he is. ]

π Book Bites
[ Anywhere that books are stored should be considered a sacred place. After all, it is a place of learning but also a place where knowledge is kept and stored for future generations or those in need. So to learn that something has been eating the pages is nothing short of disastrous.]
Now where could the creature responsible for this be?
[ At the present moment, he is following what appears to be some bit of a chewed up paper tail. He's looking under one of the reading chairs. Tail wiggling around as he tries to see proper. ]

π Get Shirty
[ Now the real question is... Who would have wanted to have switched clothing with G'raha?
The answer might be more simple than you think, since he is grabbing onto the hands of the person near him. Holding them with bright eyes that are just begging. ]
Surely a bit of fun is permitted? Doubtful you could tarnish my reputation in any way...
[ Alternatively... Perhaps this scene has already played out. Now there are consequences to allowing G'raha to switch clothing with you.
The consequences are - well he has been playing pranks. Harmless things, but enough that people are starting to get exasperated and maybe it is time to stop? ]

π Everybody's Grudge
[ He had heard of these strange Tonberries from Zack and others. But the reality is, he needs to see it with his own eyes. ]
I wonder... If these individuals are cursed as well?
[ Since that is how thing are back where he hails from. Still, as unfortunate as it might be? They might not have a choice regarding whether or not there is a need to take down this Tonberry. ]

π Wildcard
[ If nothing strikes your fancy, you can just hit me with whatever or tell me to write a custom starter. I'm down for it. Or you can hit me up @ verthunder on Plurk/Discord. ]

Oh! Ah - ouch!
[ Look, he knows that he has a nasty habit of sneaking into this place. At first, G'raha fears he has been caught by someone who will toss him out. So he is drawing back, rubbing his head. ]
N-no. Not yet, unfortunately.
no subject
With that having been said, however, he does snort a little at G'raha's reaction, because it is a bit hard to not find some kind of amusement from that little stint.]
Me too. [He returns, arms coming up to cross over his chest.] I found some shredded paper around there [A jerk of his head in the direction of where he's trying to signal] but nothing much beyond that.
no subject
That's why I was looking underneath. I had also found some paper and thought that, perhaps, it might be nesting somewhere.
no subject
It's only cute on Kaveh.]It might've been earlier, but judging from our discoveries it must have most likely moved on. [Which is... a little irritating but well. Creatures will be creatures, and all that.]
[He glances around them then, trying to see if there's any other hints that they might have missed. Given how this place is, its quite possible.]
Did you see anything else besides that one trail?
no subject
[ G'raha pushes himself up. Maybe they can figure out how to set a trap here, for later. Or at least keep an eye on the location. ]
I wish we knew if it was diurnal or nocturnal.
no subject
Given how its activities took a while to be noticed, I wouldn't be surprised if it was nocturnal. [Then again, given the size of this place in general and with all these shelves around, it probably wouldn't be hard to keep itself hidden from wandering passersbys... so really, it could go either way.] If that's the case, it might be light sensitive.
no subject
[ Trick the little thing and lay a trap for it. ]
no subject
Do you have something that can achieve that? [He asks while glancing back over to G'raha with a raised eyebrow. He still remembers that giant light spell he did with the birds at Norhpip the other time... so it wouldn't be surprising if the opposite of that existed.]
no subject
[ In other words, he really doesn't think it is an issue? ]
no subject
I noticed that there are oil lamps and candles, presumably for those who might be here late at night. We can use those to try and lure the creature to a more optimal spot for us. [A hum.] Do you have any magic that does entrapment?
no subject
[ G'raha grins. ]
I can make us invisible as well as put the creature to sleep, should we find it.
no subject
We'll go with that, then. [He acquiesces with a nod.] I'll go deal with the lights while you find a place to set things up.
[He doesn't wait for any kind of acknowledgement; the plan is already said, so Alhaitham simply takes his leave for the moment to go and find that switch for the lights.]
no subject
[ He's going to get all of the scraps of paper and gather it all in one spot. It's out in the open, with a place for Alhaitham and G'raha to be able to duck and hide behind until something comes calling. Should be able to cast a Sleep spell from this little hiding spot.
It will be up to his ears to hear the creature running around. ]
no subject
By the time he's back most of the setup in the area itself is already done, so Alhaitham helps out with the rest. Once everything is fully ready he goes to their hiding spot and settles down easily; he's never minded waiting too much, though the lack of sufficient lighting does make him unable to read as he waits, which is a bit of a shame. But its just something he'll have to make do with.]
no subject
His ears perk. And he begins actively tracking a sound. ]
no subject
It takes a bit, but eventually he sees the way G'raha's ears twitch and perk, the action reminding him a lot of the stray cats he'd see around the Grand Bazaar when they spot a mouse or something along those lines. He doesn't ask what G'raha has picked up on, simply trusting it to be the creature that they seek, so he keeps his gaze narrowed in the direction of where the other is looking at. Of course, it would be best if he didn't have to move, but he will if it becomes necessary, such as if the creature strays too far away from the area they intend to keep it within.]
