“Don’t get lost, now.” Her tone is lighter, and there’s a gentle, teasing glint in her eyes. No, no, she’s sure he’ll be fine. That, or he’ll employee someone else to guide him. As for herself, it’s probably best not to linger in the more dangerous part of what is essentially a pirate town, especially for her. Shelter, food, and clothes are her priority. A tattoo can come later.
“Oh, and… thank you.” She takes a single step away, pointing a shoulder at him. Gratitude weaves into her voice, warm as the amber of the oil lamps that line the street. “For reminding me of the stars here.”
