And all have their own sort of hardships. I know at least one of the men down there is the sole survivor of a terrible, magical plague which decimated his entire city. And though he escaped, that plague still scarred him in incredible ways.

[ He takes a sip of his glass, cuts his blue eyes sidelong through his scales. ]

Now, I think you'll agree it does beg the question, what do you count as hardship?
