[ Holland has to admire Kell's commitment here, the other Antari is putting himself to good use. Efficiency is the name of the game here, and if they're going to keep this up, they'll need to both reinforce it, and more importantly, they'll need to both make sure the fire doesn't burn out of control and cause more damage than it prevents.
Holland focuses on that part -- control has always been his strong suit. Kell's quick thinking and even quicker magic are doing their part, now Holland does his; keeping the fire steady and lashing out only when one of the monsters gets too close. It's a bit of an odd feeling, to have their magic work in tandem like this, but something in their blood makes it easier than Holland would have guessed. Maybe it's how it almost feels like the fire wants to listen, rather than simply doing as its told, but Holland won't dwell on it. They have people to save, and a fire to tend.
It doesn't really occur to him just how much he's relying on Kell, and trusting him here. They have a job to do, so they'll do it. That's all. ]
