"You were a good dance partner, it seems my toes were in good hands," he knows it sounds ridiculous, but he doesn't mind. His time with Hawke seems to have rubbed off on to him, the man was someone ridiculous and at times stupid, but he admired him more than any other.

Blinking away the darkness from his vision, he looked down at her, his eyes taking a moment to take her in quietly because for such a short conversation, he's learned some about her. Enough to leave his mind curious about her circumstances and past, what he world was like. He got the feeling they share more in common than he would like.

Besides, she was as beautiful as her voice sounded, a sweet looking girl, though he had a feeling from their conversation so far she had a mischievous streak. He would be curious to see it one day.

"Ah," he pauses at her conviction to help him find his friend here at the party. "That is unnecessary, I am sure I will run into him before the night is over," and if he can't find him at the party? Well their cabins were not all that far from each other.

"But your offer is kind, I thank you." With that he moves to take a set back, nodding his head at her. Her offer was kind and he was genuinely grateful for it, but he had no intention of taking her up on it.
