I have to say, it is nice to meet someone who doesn't know of it, fond as I am of my home city.

Though I've met a couple of previous acquaintances here, I've met yet more who know of Waterdeep— and myself— by reputation, rather more than one would think in a place where people are drawn from a variety of different worlds and planes. Worlds beyond counting, and yet.
