[Darin jolts a bit and glances back at Zelda then, just as quickly averts his eyes. Gods why was he getting so self-conscious around her now? He'd made up his mind. No matter what he feels, he has to keep that distance. There's gotta be boundaries! Darin's perfectly happy with them just being exceptionally close friends!]

[Darin claps his hands onto his cheeks, shocking the color from them and snapping his mindset back to the present. Whatever just happened? Forget it. Move on!]

[He hops to his feet and turns to her more fully.]

...Actually, yeah. I'm sure laying next to me when I was all gross and sweaty last night was terrible. A good wash would really help...

[A thought occurs.]

...Could you...actually do me a favor? My apartment isn't far. Could you head over and grab me a change of clothes...? No sense showering and then getting back into these things...I'd like to go out and replace your bed today.

Pretty sure walking around like this won't be doing me any favors...
