[Much like Garuda he takes solace in the darkness. Joshua finds the glow of a campfire to hold a special sort of comfort just as much as it staves away the cold chill in the air. The way fires glow in the darkness reminds him of harder memories now blurry in the back of his mind and of comfort that for a long time that's all he knew. How strange that Joshua still feels drawn to such things.
Her presence nearby has him looking up from the fire. He glances up in her direction as her voice carries like a sharp knife. Joshua merely sits back slightly. And in his palm, a small flame dances and plays.]
