[She had expected him to lift her up off her feet, and that is exactly what she was asking him to do, but even so, she squeals in delight when he does, her surprise breaking her free from where she had been melting into that kiss just seconds before. Everything about the way that she wraps her arms around him and nuzzles him is clumsy, just like her laughter, but she doesn't mind it so much tonight. Her chest fills with a happiness she didn't know she could feel, and everything just feels so much lighter now.
