[ Does Khalid of Almyra, also known as Claude von Riegan have any real shame? That's very, highly debatable. He doesn't need any convincing or goading in order to put on a maid outfit. Complete with his pathetic excuse for a beard being shaved off. Khalid is smooth! So very smooth.
He's going to have fun with this, flitting between tables. Of course Khalid doesn't work there, but does anyone really know who does and who doesn't when so many people are dressed up.
So don't mind him if he finds a seat next to some poor, unsuspecting fool. Because Khalid is pretending to dust their face. Grinning.]

I've seen people use these before. It feels a little heavy in my hand.
[ Khalid is an archer. He's used to the weight of a bow in his hand. The feel of the bowstring against his fingers and the tension right before he releases an arrow. A gun feels heavy and bulky in his hand. ]
How do you even work one of these things?
[ Khalid/Claude will give whoever helps him out here the prize. He just wants to prove that he can be an expert marksman no matter what ranged weapon you put in his hands. ]

Okay, but what herbs is this cat stealing? It would help us out so we can lay some kind of trap or figure out what this cat wants to do...
[ He's sighing, rubbing the back of his neck. Khalid is arguing with one of the shop owners. They had been robbed by the cat wizard and are more upset by the fur getting all over their store and ruining their wares ( pastries ). They have nothing to sell! ]
I understand the problem, I do. However, if you give us a list of what was taken, it can help us catch the little thief sooner and you won't have this problem again.
[ Warning: Khalid is ultimately going to help the little cat wizard after he figures out what they are using the ingredients for. Maybe even supply the cat with them himself!

[ Shells and coral are easy to find. Khalid can be found scouring the beaches. Any beaches, actually, for what is needed to help brew some of these potions. He has a pretty discerning eye and has a pouch tied to his waist where he is collecting them.
He's not afraid to peel off some layers of his clothing to jump into the water either. Help him out or give him a hard time. All are welcomed here.
Or, catch him brewing potions that are being requested. Khalid looks oddly focused. Meticulous in his movements and measurements. Clearly he knows his way around the ingredients that are being used and in what amounts to use them!
