[Heroes Rest. A sprawling island that Plus Ultra has steadily been making into a habitable environment. From stony paths that carve through natural hot springs and flowering trees, to waterfalls and shell-strewn beaches, it has space aplenty-- in spite of the rapidly growing crew beginning to settle there.

Axel has come to know its shores as the closest thing he has had to a home and he could think of nowhere better, safer, to find some clarity and give warning. Moreover it's somewhere secluded enough that certain outside parties weren't about to make any appearances and catch him offguard, a second time.

He might have been content to leave Saix in the dark but the renegade can't do the same for long. He has asked Sora and any of the Hero's allies from their former realm to meet here and discuss it.

Today Axel needs answers, whatever that means for him.]

[It's a lot of stinky boys, Namine. Though, it might be nice for Futaba to have another girl around.]

It's kind of a surprise that we're all still alive. I don't want to put that on you.

[The responsibility of their survival or having to survive with them.]

But yeah, even though the island seems big, the walking isn't that bad. But here it is.

[The path opens up into a large bowl shape. Maybe it was an arena or an amphitheatre at one point. Some unknown purpose to whoever had been on the island previously. But it's got a good slope for skateboarding, and there's already something of a ramp and a grind rail set up. As well as materials that will one day form into larger blocks for stunts and tricks.]

If you'd rather I not, that's okay. But that doesn't make it sound too different from home really.

[ It being a surprise they're alive. Or existing at all. Her trying to find ways to help in the background. Though her brows do furrow some. ]

What sort of things have happened that you're surprised you're still alive?

[ Because she's not going to just let that go. Even if she dos become momentarily distracted by the skatepark. ]

Oh wow, this is a lot more impressive than what I imagined! Was part of it already here waiting for you or did you build everything?

Well, I mean. If you want to join us, I'm not gonna say no. And when you put it like that...just. Don't feel like you have to take care of us or anything!

[They have to take care of themselves.

But on that note, he's quiet for a moment.]

I think Sora's the only one who really knows how to cook right now. And I guess we're all kinda the type to run off into danger.

[Not that he's trying to implicate himself. Not at all.]

The bowl part was here already. I put in the ramp and then we've just kind of been working on stuff.

Maybe someone should. { And everyone knows if Kairi were here, she would take it on herself to take care of them all. Still, there's a teasing sort of smile on her face, although she's questioning whether or not she should believe in them taking care of themselves.

Sora being their only cook raises a lot of questions. Does he cook a massive meal for everyone? Do they just all fend for themselves living off Escordvi ramen? The real questions to think about. ]

Hmm, you do all have a habit of rushing into things. I hope you haven't been hurt too badly by anything here.

[ She takes a second to really look around and then nods. ]

It's looking really good so far! I can't wait to see it when it gets even further along

[Someone probably should. Roxas wouldn't want to place that responsibility on Kairi either.]

It's just a lot to ask of anyone.

[He smiles a little ruefully. He's definitely got a few scars from things he's fought and tends to keep them covered up. It's why he's wearing longer sleeves these days.]

Not too bad. Nothing I can't handle.

Well, you'll definitely be able to see the progress. Though, we're kinda stuck right now and I think we need someone who knows a bit more about construction.

Not to much. At least I don't think so.

[ Not too much for her at least. She'll show them that. At his insistence it's nothing he couldn't handle she just studies him for a few seconds with a serious expression. ]

I doubt there's much you can't handle, but if you ever want to talk about your adventures I'd love to hear about them.

[ he's strong, she knows that, but who knows what's come to here. She nods. ]

I'm sure you'll be able to find someone here. There's people from all over who do all sorts of things, right?

[He's a little struck by that offer, a little surprised. He shrugs, not dismissively, but more like a kid who doesn't really know what to say.]

Yeah..sure...um. Maybe, a bit later though?

[He's not sure if he's ready to get into that right now.]

Probably. Someone has to know what they're doing. At least more than us.

[He kicks at a rock.]

Of course! I didn't mean now I mean...I think we have a lot more time here than we did before. [ Doesn't seem like anyone's going to be coming through a portal to drag either one of them away anytime soon. Or that they're going to have to fade away back into their respective other halves. ]
