[While others are getting ready and gearing up to visit the desert soon, Cid apparently has other plans on the docket for them. He assured them that yes, they would go. There were bits and pieces that made Benedikta suspicious about that place, but she would rather spend less time in the desert. It was not her favourite place in the past, and it certainly is not now. Besides, she is quite excited to see what he has in store for their anniversary. They'd already celebrated her birthday with a quiet weekend at the treehouse, but it was about time they got back into the world, and he claims that the dragons may have more information on what is in that book that he'd given her about the lore of this place and its dragons. Lore that she hopes they are willing to share.
It is a bit strange, then, that he brings her to the ruins where the portals are. She has not been here in over a year, and so she does not think much of it. Heck, she barely remembers this place besides the one time she spent here with G'raha looking at the constellations for the very same reason they are getting out there now.]
Ah, do not tell me...
[Her voice echoes with amusement and eagerness as they walk through the stone temple.]
[Cid is just all smiles as he carefully and smoothly guides her through. She will not notice how he carefully positions himself so that her attention will be always on him.]
It is, and I hear they are doing things a little differently this year.
[He does not have to work very hard, nor does she notice what he is doing, because all of her attention is on him. It is their anniversary date, after all, even if it is a little earlier in the month. She is looking forward to it!
