[An easy way to make a quick buck? Sign her up. Hearing about the clams along Nogard's shore is what's sent her on an early afternoon stroll, dressed casually and armed with a bucket and net.]
Now aren't you a pretty thing.
[With a smile she picks up a clam and checking it, it is indeed one she needs so she hums while dropping it in the bucket. How she's supposed to hatch it, no idea, but she'll figure it out.
But one clam reveals to have a fish, and after releasing it...]
Huh, so it really is true. Think you can find me some gold?
[Alas, there's not much of a reaction right away. But at some point, the fish will swim around excitedly before pointing somewhere. Unfortunately, it seems to sense any gold, so if anyone is wearing gold jewelry, has gold dubloons, or any sources of gold on them, the fish is going to go towards them.]

[Hearing about what was going on was...concerning to say the least. Although she has some monster meat on hand, she stares up at the tower with a deep set frown.]
...Is this really the only way? How did she even get like that to begin with?
[If anyone is interested in finding a cure for the girl, Aranea would be willing to help. She's not sure if this is some monster in disguise trying to trick people, but for now given the reports, she can't help but feel a bit sorry for her.
Which is also why she may try to help defend the tower from those who might actually try to harm the girl. And she's not even getting paid for this, ugh. But if anyone approaches with malicious intent while she's there, she'll beat them back, and she has a wyvern to assist if needed. Some who come to the tower whether to deliver meat or investigate may or may not see a growing pile of bound unconscious fellows stowed mercilessly off to the side.]

⤈ iii. shadow ice
[A giant ice serpent dragon thing causing problems and with a big reward on its head? That definitely is right up her alley, and with a wyvern to help fly out there, it makes things easier. For the most part she goes in solo as she usually does, but if someone manages to catch her before she sets off, she'll accept a partner to help. If said partner gets caught by the ice, don't worry—she'll be sure to break them out of it.
If someone else is already fighting the beast, she won't even be polite and just join in. It's big enough, right? So hope no one minds a woman shooting down from the sky to try and pierce the ice snake dragon's hide. Ideally it's on land, but if it's on water... She has wind magic to help maneuver around and keep above water at least.
By the time Aranea is out fighting against this later, there will have been a sizable hole left on the ice snake dragon. She might have had a hand with it with Verso—it's fine, it's fine, though the fact it's still moving despite having a hole in it is questionable.]
