[It's late now, and above the towns, villages, ports, and ships at sea, high in the clouds and snow and ice, a red sleigh flew. And the distant roar of engines could be heard.]
On Grumman F3F-2, on O3U-3, Curtiss SBC-3, Northrop BT-1 and Douglas TBD-1!
[To anyone paying attention they may also hear the sou d of woman laughing and the sleigh she was in fly across the moon. Pulled by a team of aircraft.]
MERRY CHRISTMAS- I MEAN WINTERSTIDE TO ALL! AND TO ALL A GOODNIGHT!
(ooc; this is really just a silly idea that came to me at last second. feel free to use it as an open mingle log for any additional, xmas eve prompts you'd like. Or maybe even catch a flight with Santaprise herself! Perhaps she still has a gift to give you? Or a ride home?

I – Mistletoe Bats
The sky is filled to the brim with those strange bats! Each seeming to dive towards a chosen target to bite and harass them! One believes itself to be sneaky and takes a chance on the carrier as she walks down the street…!
…Only to get smacked by another mistletoe bat that also had the same idea. Colliding together in midair and plummeting to the ground with a surprised, stunned squeak. In the meantime, the Grey Ghost was keeping an eye on the flying creatures as they flitted about. Doing her best to show them away from as many people as possible. The urge to use her bow was rising right now to help deal with the small invasion.
What a day to decide to go out to enjoy an afternoon about town! Of course, she can’t shoo away all bats that happened to be bothering people. But is doing her best whenever she notices one taking a dive!
Enty is currently unaware of the actual effects of the bite, unfortunately(?).
II – Gift Giving
Twas the night before Christmas… er; Winterstide. And all through the port not a ship was stirring, not even a sloop. Well, that’s not entirely true, because Enty is currently making her own rounds of gift giving right now. In lieu of the Salvation Army and Toys for Tots, she decided to go ahead and help as well. For tonight she isn’t just Enterprise, the second of the Yorktown class aircraft carriers. She is…
…SANTAPRISE!!!
Using her little aircraft to help deliver and hand out gifts to all the children (and adults) around the marina! She was currently sitting on a sleigh being pulled along by a TBF-1. Decked out in Christmas décor. Naturally, people are welcome to sit in the cockpit, the sleigh, her lap, and so on! It’s all for fun, and all good sailors are sure to get a gift for their visit! From blankets, to clothing, to candies, and little toy planes and ships. And anyone who wants are also given an “E” sailors cap. All of which brought on by memories of hers.
All together it was a merry sight indeed!
III – Dorina Grey
”I’m not all that used to having my picture painted.”
Having her picture taken, sure. But painted? That’s a whole ‘nother thing! Still, she did accept the job, but one of the things she hadn’t be expecting was their painter asking them for stories about their lives.
“And… I’m not certain where to begin.”
Because that is a loaded thing to ask! She glances towards her partner in turn.
IV – [Paladin Quest] Fountain of Blades
Sticking close to Enty means that all of those traps and natural dangers just to say nope whenever you get near them. It’s kind of odd, and a little disconcerting just how lucky the two of you have been thus far. But the real question here is, can either of you escape from the allures of the pools?
They are tempting to look into. Stare into and see the vague shapes and outlines of memories, calling you in. In this case either Enterprise herself will be pulled into the pools of magical water or you, her partner!
(this is largely left up to the party present with her. Feel free to state who will find themselves trapped!)

Ah! You can go first, Enterprise-san. Maybe start with... how you grew up?
[He's kind of excited to hear about it too! How does a girl who's a ship- grow up?]

[That was something she had to think about for a moment. The whole topic is a bit confusing and odd to th8nk about, probably.]
I suppose... I didn't really grow up in a similar sense as a regular person? Most of my childhood had been spent around naval docks. And with my sisters.
[She thinks about it a little more.]

[Something else she wasn't certain how to explain. For her it was just a regular childhood like any other. Maybe a hit more exciting than most.]
You always got to see something new almost everyday. But sometimes you were also left without much to do or see? And things could get kind of stuffy too. Most of my fun came from my sisters.

I ... I had a quiet childhood. For the most part. I grew up with my mother and father in a middle-class neighbourhood in the city. I had mostly the same friends growing up.
[Or... Friend. Singular.]

[She smiles, and does her best to not move! Lest she risk the woman turning irate at her! A quiet childhood is a good one, in her book.]

Oh- Erm. Well. That's probably because my father went to work overseas when I was fairly young. So it's mostly just been my mom and I.
[He lets out a sheepish laugh.]
But I did have one best friend who was like a brother to me growing up too.

I- I mean. He's bright, confident, smart. He always thinks about doing what's good for others even if it might not seem like he is. He was my best friend when we were small. He always played with me when other people wouldn't.
