It's that time of year again.
When Hades sees the flowers start to bloom again, he knows the tree will follow not long after - and he's proven right not a week later with the news of its predicted bloom for the following night. He immediately invites Hythlodaeus to view it with him of course. Not a word is mentioned about the tradition surrounding a visit to the tree, although he's sure that his friend will hear about it the moment they get there.
"'Tis a beautiful tree. Well worth the visit," he says as they inch their way through the crowd. Don't think about the fact that the majority of them are couples... "It only blooms once a year at night. We can't miss it."
