Dark Water: Shipwreck
[Sailors are going missing, ships are getting themselves caught up on rock and reef. It's turning into a dangerous springtime out there. But Faris is only too familiar with danger. So here he is, navigating a dinghy with a great deal of care through the patches of oily darkness towards the sound of a clanging distress bell--likely a fishing trawler in trouble.]
I shouldn't like to chuck a match on this stuff. [Even if it's probably some dark sorcerous substance rather than pitch. He sits up straighter as the source of the distress call comes into view. As he'd thought, a fishing boat, rocking as something, or things, strike at it from the water.] The water 'round that ketch looks to fairly be boiling--they're beset by creatures of some kind! Hope you're ready for a rumble.

'Ware of Sirens
[That posting by the fish fellow, with the not-at-all cryptic sentence beneath, beware of sirens... it had caught Faris' eye immediately, and sent a shiver right down her spine. The one encounter with a Siren that she's had is an experience she'd never care to have repeated in her life ever again.
...But not everyone knows what a siren is, or what it does, or how to fight it. The four of them had just been damn lucky that old man had lost his memory, or they'd all have had their souls et up like lobster in butter sauce. Faris knows what she'd be facing down now, and that means she's got the means to protect others from it... maybe pay back Galuf from beyond the grave.
He's not going to be a fool, though, which is why he's sought out a willing partner for this venture.]
First thing's first. Have you ever run into any hypnotisers, mind-readers, or suchlike charlatans?

Mermaybe (for Aranea)
MORE GODDAMN BUCKETS. But also, the sounds of a fish slapping the sand... a really big one. He starts looking around the low-tide rocks.]
Avast there, what's all this?

Fucking pig when I get my hands on their snout I'm going to roast him over a spitfire and skewer his eyes through his ass—
[And much more that cannot be shared—
But Faris will likely recognize that voice and will find Aranea in...not quite her usual form. Her upper half is normal (she managed to keep her shirt thank gods), but the lower half is a dark red fish tail like a mermaid's. She is also drenched with several buckets knocked over around her.]
Pandora's Tower (for Miriam)
He's doing his best to bring the poor girl a variety of things to eat, even if it has to be monsters--doesn't mean she needs to be bored of her food on top of it. But as he approaches the tower, he sees that he's not the only one here today.]
Ahoy, Miriam, what are you doing about this place?

Her thoughts seemed to be elsewhere, but she snapped back to focus when she heard a familiar voice.]
Hm? Oh! Hello, Faris.
[There's a small woven basket hanging off her elbow, its contents carefully wrapped up and hidden from view.]
I'm- [a little pause,] -delivering something.
[She did trust Faris, but it seemed best to be...discrete about this sort of thing. But this wasn't the first time she'd ferried monster parts about--even ones meant for food.]
'Ware of Sirens
He shakes his head at the question, though.]
Not first hand. I try to avoid such conmen.
dark water: shipwreck
but that'd probably lead to everything around going up in flames knowing his luck.
any further pondering regarding the water gets interrupted by noises from up ahead. eizen looks up right as faris speaks. a fight is something he honestly expected. such is the reaper's luck.]
Aye, always. [he flexes a wrist.] I can fire off an attack to draw their attention over. Just let me know when you're ready.
[fighting these monsters might not be too easy, especially while on their turf, but him and faris ought to manage well enough.]
