a. there's no place like gnome - the hideaway.

[bad luck follows eizen wherever he goes. this is a fact and a fact he's more than used to at this point. shit will happen. it will not be good. he will deal with it. that said, it's hard to deal with shit happening when it happens right when leaving his own damn room. just as he opens the door, his foot slams into something that appeared seemingly out of nowhere on the ground. cue the malak immediately flying forward through the door. maybe he lands on the ground, maybe he slams full force into the poor unfortunate soul passing by.

the culprit behind this bit of bad luck?

a little grim reaper-like gnome now sitting cozily smack damn in the middle of eizen's doorway.]

b. the price of freedom - corsairs.

[hunting someone down and beating the shit out of them for breaking the unspoken code of conduct is something eizen can damn well do. every pirate worth their salt similar boundaries in place. yeah yeah, pillage and rob and all that, BUT even pirates have their principles.maybe eizen himself is a little invested given the details. trying to take away someone's freedom and claiming they belong to you? as someone whose race has had to deal with that sort of shit thanks to a certain group, anyone behaving this way never fails to piss him off. actions have consequences and he'll be part of those consequences.

and, going off the entourage guarding this little hideaway, the bastard is full well aware of what he has coming for him. eizen watches the guards' movement silently. him and his partner are hiding behind some cover from a solid distance away. after a moment, eizen turns towards his partner.]

Been a while since I've been a in brawl with these odds. Could be a good time, unless you'd rather avoid all that.

[both are doable and he's honestly fine either way. that said, maybe he's in the mood to beat a couple faces in.]

c. lore accurate jellyfish - bounty.

[catching a jellyfish with a net: doable. even with his curse, this is doable. sure, the jellyfish looks like something out of most people's nightmares but it's still just a damn jellyfish. all you need is a good net, a good fishing spot and a good amount of patience.

...and hopefully enough good luck to balance out his bad luck.
