Who: The PLUS ULTRA! crew & friends.
Status: Semi-open.
Where: The Mighty Explosion God Ship Bomb!! ship that is docked in Eltrut or Elah. Or the small cottage the crew owns in Elah.
What: A catch-all mingle log for March for the PLUS ULTRA! crew and any friends happening by. Some Manta Board quest prompts have been included too.

⛵ Like the rest of the ships around the docks lately, the explosion of sea slugs has taken over the hero's ship as well. It's covered in what seems like hundreds of playful and colourful sea slugs. They are all over the deck, climbing up the mast and leaving strings of sticky slime all over the place. The slugs will either need to be removed somehow or killed. And the sea slug slime mopped up...

If crewmates and friends are looking for partners to go harvesting underwater pineapples with the ship can also be found in Eltrut waters where the special pineapples can be found. Go swimming or diving to collect as many underwater pineapples for the ship stores as possible.

🌼 If not on the ship, the crew can sometimes be found at their small cottage on the paladin's leviathan, Elah. The cottage is small but happens to be well kept despite four very unruly and busy teenagers living inside it. They have a small garden growing outside as well as various plants and pots all over the terrace.

And they seem to be preparing to build some kind of new addition to the cottage soon too as there is a pile of stone and wood stacked up outside. And an apple-shaped sheep keeps walking around too. Baaah.

I don't know if I want to think about slugs breeding.

[Migrating maybe. Breeding? That's kind of gross.]

Either way, they don't need to be on the ship like this.

[He sighs, grabbing the mop to try and gather the fried slugs. Could he get someone to eat them?]

I think it's mostly an egg-laying type of ... ah. Situation? Maybe too many eggs were incubated? All I know is that male slugs have to incubate the females like you would normally think.

[Roxas said he didn't want to think about slugs breeding, Izuku---

ANYWAY.]

I think so long as we clean up as much as we can it should stop the spread.

[Izuku why do you know this? Roxas, thankfully, has a Look for this.]

That's really gross.

But if I keep using the Thunder spell, do you think it will work?

[Izuku glances off. Listen, he's a nerd who has access to the internet and reads a lot so... He's gone down a few weird internet rabbit holes in his life.]

Ahh- [ANYWAY] I think we can keep using your magic to take care of some of the more hard-to-reach ones. Or the ones that are too big.

[Roxas leaves that kind of stuff to Pence and Ienzo. The less he knows about slugs the better, honestly.]

Sure.

[He looks at the slugs again.]

They can get bigger?

Erm. I mean...

[He points at this huge slug over on the other side of the deck. It's the size of a large dog.]

[Roxas looks at the slug and is supremely grossed out. Didn't Sora have to fight something similar? At least they're mostly just. Being slugs. And not really attacking him or anything.]

They're almost worse than Heartless.

I'll go deal with it.

[Izuku nods. Meanwhile, he'll start mopping up slime again.]

Heartless...?

[Oh boy, here we go. Kingdom Hearts wild ride.]

[The more people who haven't heard of Heartless, the better Roxas feels.]

They're monsters from my world that steal people's hearts. I. I had to fight them. Often.

[He stares down this slug, wondering if he should just go ahead and fry it.]

[Izuku frowns. He definitely remembers Roxas saying that he was forced to do some bad things before. By an... Organization? Or something?]

Were you forced to do that, Roxas-kun? To fight?

[Roxas shrugs.]

Not really. I mean...thinking about it more, I guess?

It was just, all I really knew, at the time. So I didn't really question it.

And Heartless are bad no matter what the situation.

I'll take your word for it.

[Izuku nods.]

It's difficult when you're in a situation and don't know anything else.

Yeah. And I didn't really have any reason to either. For a good while.

[He had friends, he had a routine, life was pretty set. There wasn't a reason to doubt anything.]

It turns out they were keeping a lot of things from me.

[And more than he initially thought.]

So I left.

[Izuku frowns softly...]

I'm glad you recognized that and left, Roxas-kun. I hope you found somewhere safe?

[He would like to get to know Roxas better. That all seems so complicated.]

[Roxas smiles sadly at that.]

Not really. I didn't really have anywhere to go. The Organization, tended to stay out of people's way.

I kinda just left without much of a plan, I just wanted answers.

[He pauses for a moment, gathering his thoughts. He can't really keep dancing around everything.]

Those creatures I mentioned, called Heartless? They steal a person's Heart, and when they do, that person becomes a Heartless as well. But there's a shell that gets left behind, and that's called a Nobody.

I'm a Nobody.

And so was the rest of the Organization.

[The first thing immediately out of his mouth is,]

Roxas-kun, you're not a nobody!?!?

[Just... give him a second to stop panicking.]

[But he is, is the thing. Though, Other might be a better term to use. And despite vessels and Hearts and all those thing, that is what he is. He didn't really stop, he doesn't think.

Still, it's nice of Izuku to say that. It reminds him of Sora.]

It's fine. It is what it is. And I know I'm more than that now.

I have a Heart and everything.

[Please for the love of All Might use the term Other because Izuku's struggling so bad right now.]

Roxas-kun... [His eyes are tearing up??] I think it's important to know you've always been more than a nobody, ne? You're a good friend. You're honest and kind. Strong and ready to help others. That's why I'm glad to know you.

[He's ready to bust out a whole powerpoint on why Roxas is not a nobody, yes. Izuku's heart is in the right place.]

You have a good heart. I know it. And I'm happy to hear that you know it too now.

[His Heart is in the right place, even if he is a little bit confused. But it is nice to hear those words. Really it is.]

Look, I'm not the guy who came up with the term. I don't know who did, but it's just...it is what it is. I prefer Other anyway.

It is, nice of you to say all that though. Really.

[Izuku doesn't fully understand but he hopes he can come to understand someday soon. Roxas has been a good friend and crewmate and he wants to make sure Roxas feels included and part of this with them. They might be new friends but Izuku likes Roxas very much.]

I'm sorry... I know it must be a term used in your world. It's just confusing. [He panicked a bit back there.] I'm happy to say everything I did, though. And I am happy to hear that you've found yourself.

[It is a truth universally acknowledged that Roxas is not the best person to be explaining this subject matter.]

Yeah, I know. It's...a whole thing.

[And Roxas himself even more so.]

But like I said, it just kind of, is what it is. I'm just lucky I get to keep being me.

[Izuku nods. Meanwhile, he goes back to mopping up slime.]

[The one downside of frying a giant slug is that it's not like a heartless. He's still got to deal with a giant slug.]

Yeah...sure...

[There's the sense that he could say more, but he's run out of words for the moment.]

[If Roxas wants to say more, he'll be happy to listen. But for now it's back to scrubbing slimes.]
