What: A catch-all mingle log for March for the PLUS ULTRA! crew and any friends happening by. Some Manta Board quest prompts have been included too.

⛵ Like the rest of the ships around the docks lately, the explosion of sea slugs has taken over the hero's ship as well. It's covered in what seems like hundreds of playful and colourful sea slugs. They are all over the deck, climbing up the mast and leaving strings of sticky slime all over the place. The slugs will either need to be removed somehow or killed. And the sea slug slime mopped up...

If crewmates and friends are looking for partners to go harvesting underwater pineapples with the ship can also be found in Eltrut waters where the special pineapples can be found. Go swimming or diving to collect as many underwater pineapples for the ship stores as possible.

🌼 If not on the ship, the crew can sometimes be found at their small cottage on the paladin's leviathan, Elah. The cottage is small but happens to be well kept despite four very unruly and busy teenagers living inside it. They have a small garden growing outside as well as various plants and pots all over the terrace.

And they seem to be preparing to build some kind of new addition to the cottage soon too as there is a pile of stone and wood stacked up outside. And an apple-shaped sheep keeps walking around too. Baaah.

[A surprisingly amount of observation from this socially dense jackass. Are you proud of him Kaveh?]

He may be one of the most impossibly stubborn, contrary and sarcastic men you'll ever meet, but he holds a body of knowledge that surpasses just about anyone who isn't a god within Teyvat.

Which makes his horrid taste in aesthetics worse, for the record, he is quite smart enough to know better.

[He is very upset.]

[You've lost him Kaveh. You had him in the first half, but the other just went downhill from there. People are so confusing sometimes.]

If you're going to insult him, be accurate, or don't bother.

[HMMPH.]

I just learnt what his name was today. [As blunt as a dull buttering knife. How's he supposed to be accurate when he doesn't know him as well as you, Kaveh?] I don't get why you're the one getting so upset about this, I wasn't even insulting you!

[He does pause though. And kind of looks...askance. Why is he so mad, actually?]

You don't have to like him. But he's done...a lot to help me.

[Do you want him to insult him or not, Kaveh? Make up your mind! Ranma scoffs, crossing his arms behind his head.]

Who says I don't like him? [He barely even knows the guy! He does tilt his head some at the last part.] And how so?

He...took me in, when I had nowhere else to go.

[His tone softens a little bit. That's right...when all was said and done, Alhaitham had been the one who helped him. The very same person who had told him all idealists would drown under the weight of others...had been the one who'd pulled him to shore.

[He doesn't understand why Kaveh went from looking like he wanted to rip his head off one minute and calm and collected the next like he just hit an epiphany. But hey, whatever gets him stabbed the least, he'll take it.]

When you put it like that, then I guess why you'd be so defensive of him. [Ranma really can relate some, being homeless for basically all his life. Living as a vagabond, keeping places sojourned. While the Tendo Dojo and Nerima invites trouble for him, it's the place he's stayed in the longest.]

[Stabbing is still on the table, Ranma.]

...He always says he doesn't care, and he probably doesn't. But I don't think there's anyone who's ever really understood him.

[Not since Kaveh left, anyway.]

... If he didn't care, do you think he wouldn't do so much for you? I mean, I don't know anything about you and him so I can't say much, but most people don't just take people in and let them stay a while solely out of the goodness of their heart.

[Not everyone is that altruistic. If someone is letting just another person stay, they either care about them or want something out of them. That's his experience, at the least.]

Ah, I mean, he says he doesn't really care what other people think of him.

[He trails off.] Alhaitham's never been that altruistic, you're right. He told me a long time ago that no matter how strong a swimmer you are, eventually you'll drown under the weight of other people pulling you under, when you try to save them. But even so, he still...

[Kaveh trails off.]

I don't know what I could even do for a man like him.

[Yeah... Maybe he should've read into it more. Ranma scratched the back of his head, looking as unsure as Kaveh does now.]

I dunno... [He crossed his arms together and gave an uncertain shrug.] If you really care that much about him, then I guess try and give him something to show you appreciate him?

[Ranma, the matchmaker we all need in our lives.]

[He's quiet for a little bit, and sighs.]

I suppose so. He's difficult to shop for...though.

[He pauses, and thinks.] There was that listing...ugh. I suppose it can't be helped.

I'm sure he'll appreciate whatever you get him.

[Wait for it...]

... If all else fails, you could always buy him another ugly fish statue.

[There it is.]

...There's a quest on the manta board offering fish slippers as a reward.

[He's so tired and so in love, Ranma.]

... Perfect? [Yeah, even he can't hide his grimace from that.] That could work, if you want to go that far. I can help if ya' want.

[To love is to suffer.]

I need to make some other arrangements before I go over to Elah. [Grimacing more.] But I'll let you know, thank you.

[He smiled, waving it off, before looking at the arm still missing its sleeve.]

In the meanwhile, I gotta go buy something to sew up and fix my damaged shirt. See you later?

[Kaveh pauses. And then digs in his pocket to hand Ranma a business card.]

Tell this seamstress I sent you. She'll fix it right up.

[Let him just collect his poor abused cloak.]

[He takes it, flipping it back and forth between his fingers. Ranma then pocketed it, figuring to give it a shot.]

I'll check her out then. Thanks.

[Looking at the travesty that was Kaveh's cloak, he helped pick it up for him.] Ciao. [With that two fingered wave, Ranma turned to walk off. Completely forgetting all about the shapple, which is currently snuggling up on Kaveh's leg.]

[Kaveh looks down at the shapple. And his cloak. And sighs.]

I guess you'll be fine in the garden until I can turn you back...

[...Alhaitham can't be too mad if he plans to turn it back into an apple, right???]
