Girl You Forgot Something [Open | Throughout March, Between Other Happenings]
Who: Grace and YOU
Status: Open
Where: At sea, or at your call
What: Grace is exploring
Warnings: Blood & animal death, discussion of death, violence, and mental influences are likely; violence is possible; other warnings to be included in headers if they become relevant
One of the new Riftfarers seems to have missed the memo with regard to sailing, chiefly on the matter that it's normally done with a ship. It isn't that Grace is never aboard Royal Fortune, exactly, more that she's...easily distracted, never had to do organized work in her life, undisciplined, proud, flighty, and has access to an entire world for the first time in either of her lives.
Her spot on duty rosters might need to be double filled until someone can instill discipline in this fish.
In the meantime though, her frequent trips overboard (or, well, frequent Just Jumping Into The Ocean) might be spotted by you, yes, you. A mysterious figure on a sandbar, hunched over, what could they - it's Grace, she's eating a raw fish, she's waving at your ship like she didn't just get the lookout's hopes up for nothing.
But wait, man overboard, there's someone in the water - it's Grace again.
Surely this spreading pool of blood won't be Grace this time, it's ominous and clouding the water and nope it's fucking Grace again, hauling up a Large Fish stupid enough to mistake her for prey and calling up in that not-voice of hers: ~Is this edible?~
Fish behaving oddly? Grace is chasing the school trying to find her snack. Oyster patch popular with pearl divers mysteriously picked-over but all the pearls are still there? You bet your ass it's Grace, again. A group of sea turtles appears to be dragging a corpse through the water? Surprise, it's Grace.
It's always fuckin' Grace.
She's also available by shellphone if you care to learn the sad extent of her literacy.

Is that a body!?
Oh, no, hang on, this person looks to be alive... but this can't be healthy for them at all. Anyway, excuse her as she reaches down to poke at the not!corpse. Enty's pretty certain she's seen this person before too. But the waves are making it hard to determine who they are.

When he draws closer, he realizes that the lady on the sandbar is eating a raw fish with every sign of enjoyment.]
...Right. How long have you been out here?

It startles him, and he stares into the water with concern... until he recognizes the figure that surfaces. He closes his eyes, partly out of exasperation, and partly because the sight of all that blood only adds to the queasiness he's already feeling.
He takes a calming breath before calling out to her. "Do you have any other hobbies aside from eating raw sea creatures?"
