Wringing out her pigtail as she argued back. "You're the wise guy who messed with my potato bombs in the first place!" Ranma still doesn't get why he of all people has an issue with this. Unlike him, when these volatile veggies go boom, they won't damage the ship. But noooo, Ranma's the issue here! Stupid ass hypocrite.
She stepped over back to the chest, stroking her chin. Okay Ranma, breaking your back t get the statue off isn't working. Just come up with new a solution, think outside the--

Why didn't she think of that earlier? Ranma took a knee, examining the chest and tapped her knuckles on it curiously. "Yo, Sweaty." She called out, her irritated tone softened to a more chill and laidback manner. "Didja buy this chest too for this joke, or is did you have it hanging around?"

He watches her knock on the chest and wonders what she's about to do.
"I bought it. Who the hell has chests just laying around? Why the hell does that matter?"

"Last I check, you're not banned from the kitchen. So what's with the tantrum over my explosives, hm?" They don't even cause a fire! She put a sign up and everything! If anyone tried using them for cooking even after her cautionary, then they deserve what comes to them.
Hearing his confirmation, Ranma nodded and stood up with a stretch. "Just wanted to know if I should feel bad 'bout doing this." Doing what--

In a quick motion, Ranma reared her arm back and punched straight into the chest itself. It was like the container was made of tissue paper with how easy her entire arm went through. The crunching and cacophonic sound of metal denting and bending inward proved otherwise. When she pulled her arm back, there was a sizeable hole left in the chest, a potato bomb in her hand and a smug, shit-eating grin on her face.

She said blithely, currently tipping the chest slightly and rolling the potatoes out onto the deck. As she picked them up, she stored them away with her ki. To Katsuki, this'd look like they just blipped out of existence entirely.
"Be grateful I didn't completely turn it into scrap metal." Ripostes aside, she did plan on paying him back — even if he doesn't deserve it after running his mouth — anyway. Ranma pulled out the sack she carries her dubloons in. "If it'll get you to stop being a wimp about it, how much did it cost?"

Ranma really does get his temper stoked.
He realizes just how pissed he's getting and stomps over to get his cat statue, snatching it up. He doesn't name a price. Just snaps "Fuckin' forget it!" As he starts stomping away.

"Next time, buy a tougher case!" Or don't mess with her crap to begin with. Ranma doesn't try to stop him, mostly so she doesn't have to pay him back for something, in her opinion, she shouldn't have to. His fault his crappy chest has an opening in it.
