[Izuku takes a step back...]

[At least he's okay with saying something like damn it. But it's still so awkward to say it out of context. Nonetheless, Izuku inhales and yells out,]

[He breaks into a wide grin.]

See? Easy. Now you just--

[He inhales and--]

COME OUT YOU DAMN FEATHERY BASTARDS!!!

[Even Izuku has to flinch a little as Katsuki yells so loudly. But!!! There's the telltale sound of the birds flapping their wings in the distance!! And the faint croaking sound of, "COME OUT YOU DAMN FEATHERY BASTARDS!!!" from somewhere in the trees!]

Ah?! It worked?! I think they're that way! We have to keep yelling!

[Izuku breaks into a sprint in the direction of the parroting parrots.]

Keep talking to us-! ... DAMN YOU BIRDS!!

[And the echo! "DAMN YOU BIRDS!!"]

Katsuki takes off after Izuku, following the sound.]

You wanna fight you shitty birds??

[The echo back of Katsuki's words has him lighting up. See? It's working!]

Keep it up!

YEAH, YOU SHITTY BIRDS-

[Izuku claps his hand quickly over his mouth............. That felt too weird?!

... But the birds parrot it back and the sound of birds flapping their wings is coming from a nearby tree.]

T-There?!

[Katsuki is so proud of his boyfriend right now. For cursing of all things. He just thinks Izuku should be allowed to let go sometimes!

But at the sound of the wings, he grins. Found 'em!]

Heh. Time to catch 'em!

[And he's off with his explosions, toward the birds.]

Keep up, nerd!

[Noooo- Don't be proud of him it felt so off-brand?! But Izuku doesn't have time to fret about it because the birds are close by!]

Right?!

[Are explosions near birds really the best idea?? Izuku uses blackwhip to catch up and float shortly after. The flock of exotic birds are up in one of the highest trees flapping their wings and cackling loudly.

"Shitty birds! Shitty birds!!"]

Ahh... I hope they don't keep saying that?!

[Katsuki lands and eyes the birds. Hmmm...]

Think you can use black whip to make a 'net' for 'em? We gotta get 'em all back...

[fullgauntlet]

Ahh- I can try that. So long as we don't hurt them. If I make the net can you try and herd them into it?

[He nods... They have to be fast though since the birds might fly away. So he floats upwards and with a flicker of green energy he makes a decent-sized web out of blackwhip. It's tricky since he's never used blackwhip like this before.]

This way, Kacchan! Remember, be gentle!

[callmekacchan]

Yeah, yeah. I can be gentle, damn it!

[And he can. He makes sure Izuku is ready and gives a couple small pops of explosion to spook the birds towards Izuku's black whip net. Most of them do go right into the net.

Two fly over it.]

I got the escapees!

[If Izuku has their net of birds, Katsuki launches himself after the other two. He reaches out and grabs the first. It squawks a curse at him as he tucks it under his arm and goes for the second. They now have a net full of cursing birds and two more tucked safely in Katsuki's arms.]

Heh. Did it.

[fullgauntlet]

[Izuku maneuvers quickly and smoothly through the air himself, gently netting up the birds with his blackwhip and following Katsuki's lead with those little explosions. Once again the two of them prove that they work well together when they're not thinking too hard about it.

Once the birds are both netted and tucked under arms, Izuku floats back down to the ground and lands.]

There, now all we have to do is bring them back to the conservatory.

[And hope they don't swear up a storm along the way...]

I've never thought to use my blackwhip like this before, Kacchan. It was a good idea! I just hope these birds aren't too shook up.

They seem fine.

[One of the birds under Katsuki's arm lets out a 'Fuck you' and Katsuki gives it a dirty look.]

Fuck you, you damn bird.

[That gets them all cursing. A chorus of 'Fuck you, you damn bird'. Lovely.]

Lets just get these shitheads home.

[fullgauntlet]

[Oh. Oh NO............. Izuku looks mildly horrified to hear all of the birds saying "fuck you" over and over again. Izuku quickly fumbles with the netting and tries his best not to let them go.]

I hope we don't get in trouble for them swearing this much...

[And one yells, "shitheads!!" and Izuku grimaces before turning back towards the conservatory.]

Kacchan... Try not to talk for the rest of the way back, ne?

[And now the birds are cheerfully repeating that?

...at least they stopped cursing?]
