I'll pick up some books for you if you want. I wonder if I can find any board games anywhere? That'd be kinda fun and a way to pass the time. [ And they could invite Tails! ]

Heh, I feel like I'm probably better at breakin' stuff than I would be at makin' stuff, but board games don't sound bad at all. Sure beats sittin' in here by myself all day staring out the window.

heh. This may come as a surprise, but I could really go for anything right now. Sandwiches or something?

She reaches over to pat his arm reassuringly, before she pushes off the wall and heads towards the door. ]

That is surprising! I think I can scrounge some sandwiches up, though. I'll be back in a bit!

[ She waves, and out she goes. And true to her word, a good half hour later she returns with a small selection of ~~generic~~ sandwiches. She's also got water... and, of all things, boba tea. which... is what took her so long. She knocks as best as she can with her hands full before she lets herself in and carefully places the wrapped sandwiches down on his bed to let him pick and choose whichever and however many he wants.

She hands him one of the boba teas, amd then places the jug of water at his nightstand. That's mostly just for him to have hydration on hand, honestly. ]

I didn't know what to get, soooo I kinda got a little of everything.

[being the classy gent that he is, Sonic double finger guns when Amy leaves.

He tries not to let show just how unbelievably bored he was while she was away (it was only half an hour Sonic come ON), doing his best to look cool and collected and not obviously relieved when she gets back. Normally when he's bored he'd just go for a run, sucks to be him.

At least he's got boba. And a sandwich! He doesn't really have a preference and just grabs the closest one to him.]

It's not a problem! Besides, now you've got plenty of leftovers to snack on later, too.

[ She plops down on the edge of his bed, careful not to jostle him around, and she takes a sip of her own boba. ]

I'll try to find something a little more exotic to bring you for dinner. I could try to make something, though, if that sounds better.

[ Somehow. She can pull a Martha Stewart if she tries hard enough, and the expression on her face clearly says she's actually thinking hard about it... ]

As much as I like a good loaded chili dog, I'm also not really gonna be able to get as much exercise as I'm used to. Home cooked would be better for me in the long run, but I don't wanna be a burden.

[he knows Amy well enough to know that she wouldn't really mind, but still. It's a pride thing.]

It's not a burden, you know I love to cook for you. [ Well. All of her friends, but he gets it. ] So, healthy options, huh?

[ She taps her finger against her cheek thoughtfully. ]

What about something like grilled fish? I could make that and a salad. Or chicken, if you're feeling more like that. Y'know, it's too bad Big isn't here. I'll bet he could catch us all sorts of good fish.

[ How is she supposed to *grill* something though without a grill. ]

...I could make a chicken and vegetable soup, too, if that sounds better? Actually, how healthy are we talking here?

[ Sorry, Sonic, but she takes this shit very seriously!! She wants to make sure that he's got healthy shit but also healthy shit that tastes good. And stuff he can have on hand to reheat if she's not around to cook. ]

Aha, sorry, I don't mean to bore you with food stuff. I just wanna make sure you're okay, you know?

It's fine, I get it! Besides, there's nothing boring about food. It sounds like some kind of salad or sandwiches might be the easiest kinds of things to make? At least until we can get our hands on a grill.

[Look someone has to take nutrition seriously. Sonic will be the first to admit that he isn't always the best at it.]

Easiest yeah, for now. I don't really want you to live off of just sandwiches and salads, though... ugh. I wish I had my kitchen at home...

[ Amy slumps a little. She can figure out a way to make sandwiches exciting, and maybe salads too, buuuut she's not happy about it. ]

Okay, okay. I'll try and find a way to make them appealing so you don't get bored with them. Hopefully we can get a grill or something similar as soon as possible.

Anyways, enough about that for right now. We were talking about board games earlier, do you have anything on hand right now?

That's a big nope from me. I've been so preoccupied with exploring and stuff that I hadn't even considered finding ways to stay entertained indoors. I think I might have a deck of cards somewhere, but that's it.

[cards count, right? He isn't used to owning a bunch of stuff anyway.]

Eh, we can probably figure out some card games if it's a full deck, at least. Could probably come up with some new games too-- I'll go out again a little later and see what I can find board games wise. It's probably a good thing to have them around anyways, you never know when we might all get stuck inside for whatever reason. Also, game nights wouldn't be a bad thing!

[ It would be fun! And definitely friendly with no table flipping involved! ]

I know 'Go Fish', and... That's about it for my card game knowledge. I'd be down for game nights, though. Should give me a chance to learn some new things!

[If CERTAIN PEOPLE behave maybe! Sure would be a shame if every game night ended in fist fights.]
