[She giggles into her hand before she leans forward and taps him on the nose.]

No, of course not. Maybe we just need to do a little bit of sparring to stay in shape. Not fighting in the paint.

[—Aaah. He nods a little at that.]

Now that you mention it, I don't think we've ever sparred against each other, have we?

[She pushes herself up to her feet, paint dripping down her back and sending a ripple of cold shivers through her. Ah, that's wet and kind of slippery!]

But I guess that's something we should try doing sometime, huh?

At least we kept most of the paint on us.

[Some of it did splatter on the wall, but they're small dots and blobs, colors that don't ruin it and might even make it better. And it won't be much longer before the shopkeeper returns with more paint and towels.]

[Well, at least they're supplying them with stuff both to paint and clean up, but Tifa gives them a grateful smile and a thank you when they bring the paint back out for them... and shoves two neatly folded towels into her hands before heading back inside.

Her gaze follows his to the wall.]

Honestly? I think the paint that did get on the wall makes it better.

You think so, too?

[A light grin.]

We should try and finish it then.

Yeah, we probably should.

[She steps closer, lifting the towels between them with an amused gleam in her eyes.]

Don't wanna upset the shopkeeps, but I think we're off to a good start.

[flamekthunder]

[He'll take one of the towels, but he does wonder if they should even bother right now with them. He has a strong suspicion they will just get paint all over themselves again...]

I think so, too. Think you can finish without making more of a mess?

I'll try to resist.

[Yeah, probably for the best that they leave them for later. She also has a feeling that they'll end up with more paint on them than what they started with—]

But you make it so difficult.

[So she'll set her towel aside for now and step over to the paints to refill what they'd lost.]

[He starts to help arrange the paints again as he chuckles.]

It did stop your attack. So I'd say while I might have lost the battle, I won the war.

[Her laughter echoes louder as she returns to painting the wall, her nose crinkling with a smile.]

War? I had no idea that you and I were at war. If I had, I might've fought a little harder.

What, did you think it was just a little play?

[A playful smile as he finishes outlining the airship and starts filling it in.]

You know I don't things half measured.

[starshower]

Oh, I know.

[Why are her cheeks suddenly so warm? She keeps her eyes on the paint but she can hear and feel that smile he wears.]

But neither do I. I think I make for quite the adversary, don't you? I won't be easy on you next time.

I will say you do make for a fun challenge...

[A firm brush of paint over the wall.]

[She has to think about that for a moment, and when she does, her cheeks redden all the more.]

I can think of one time where you might have. [A soft clearing of her throat and a teasing glance his way.] On my birthday...

[A slight arch of the brow. He can think of one particular instance, but her reaction is suggesting otherwise... Which he can also think of, but is that really "losing"?]
