[A shake of her head and a shrug of her shoulders.]
Not really. Someplace nice? And some thicker walls would be good... I-I mean, because of what happened last time!
no subject
So we don't hear others or... They don't hear us?
no subject
She responds at first with a soft clearing of her throat, and pretends that didn't just happen.]
Hm... a little bit of both?
[In spite of her efforts to keep her voice steady, she fails.]
... It's not that loud, is it?
[Wait no, she's totally going to regret saying that—]
no subject
Not sure...might have to try again to see. But even if it's not...
[With a movement as if he's bringing the paintbrush down, it actually brings him right down to her head and his lips are now by her ear as he speaks quiet and low against it.]
I'll make it so.
no subject
And when she speaks, she doesn't mean to sound so breathless.]
... That sounds like a challenge.

[She tries so very hard to focus on the paint, but with him so close, he makes it difficult for her. She has one colour left...! And so she'll do a quick streak of purple before he does something elseโ
So with that done...]
There. All finished!
[Just going to pretend that her cheeks aren't burning.]
no subject
Looks good.
[Both the painting and her own expression.]
no subject
Does it really?
[She raises a hand, searching for his to use to pull herself up. Not that she needs it, but it's a good excuse to take it.]
Messed up a little at the end...
no subject
Seeing her reach up, he'll take her hand to help her up, but doesn't let it go. Instead he'll hold her close against him.]
Got distracted?
[BULLY.]
no subject
Mm-hm. No thanks to you.
[She slides up to him, her arms slipping around his waist when he holds her closer, and as she rests her head against his chest, she looks at the finished mural.]
... But even with the distractions, I'd say we did a good job. Perfect, even.
no subject
Almost... It's missing one thing.
A signature.
no subject
[The smile on her face breaks her surprise.]
Should we write our names, or... leave handprints?

[With a little squeeze of her arms around him first, she lets go so that she can kneel down and pick out a colour. She dabs her fingers in the red.]
Let's do that, and then we can leave handprints beside them.
[And she'll approach the wall, scrawling a T.L. next to the rabbit and the wolf.]
You should put yours under mine.
[He can probably guess what she's going to do with them—]
no subject
And then?
no subject
[Her voice trails off as she leans down, dipping her finger into the red, and then white so that she makes pink...]
We do this.
[She draws a heart with the paint around their initials, and steps back to admire her handiwork.]
Well?
no subject
It's perfect.
no subject
[She steps up beside him again, and her arms immediately wrap around him so that she can shuffle them both a little further back together to get a better look at the whole thing. And as her eyes scan the mural, her expression warms along with this fluttery feeling in her chest.]
All of it is. I'd say for us not being pros, we did a pretty good job.
no subject
[A teasing smile before an idea comes to mind.]
We should take a picture of it.
[Eventually these murals will be washed away, so might as well make a memento of it.]
no subject
[She's already pulling her phone out of her back pocket, and she wipes her paint-covered fingers on her apron first.]
We can ask the shop owners if they can take a few for us?
no subject

"You sure you don't want to get cleaned up?"
Eustace glances at Tifa.]
...I dunno... I think it's more fitting like this.
no subject
I agree. We fit in more with the painting covered in it, too.
[And she wanders over to hand the shopkeep her phone before she takes Eustace by his hand.]
