[THIS IS OUT OF CONTROL.]
no subject
Because you haven't answered my question.
[SOMEONE PLEASE STOP THEM.]
no subject
Which bloody question, that's all you've been doing for the past five minutes!
no subject
The one I just asked you.
[βas her other hand reaches back for the door and she swings it open behind her, still blocking his way inside.]
You were the one who got quick-tempered, but you failed to remember all the times other women have approached you. Don't think you're so innocent, Cidolfus. You can simply admit you are jealous and we can move on from this.
[is this still about the penguins]
no subject
Quick-tempered? Me?
[A short, scoffing laugh as he looks around. She wants an answer? Fine, she'll get her answer right out here in this hallway since she doesn't want to go inside!!]
That was exactly my point before you got onto me, pretending to be innocent as if it never happened to you, and sent us spinning on this wild goose chase. You asked why I can be so nonchalant and I was going to say it's happened to me so many times I just ignore and forget about it. But I stopped myself since I knew you'd fly off the handle and have your own spout of jealousy.
[A smirk.]
Just like you are now.
no subject
[She's fuming right now, over something so stupid, she knows, but he's grated on the last of her very few nerves. Jealous? Her? Of what, the bird woman who touched his arm with her ugly feathers? Or the lady penguin who thought he might dance for her? Or all the other women, past and present, who might have stared at him for just a little too long, and she could not say or do anything about it?
Jealous!?
Her!?]
So Iβ
[Certainly not her! Not ever!]
You are the oneβ
[With a loud half-groan, half-shriek, she uses their hands to yank him to her, forcing his lips to crash against her own as she spins them around and shoves them inside the room because fuck this, she is not letting him get the last word.]
no subject
Until she yanks him in and is crashing her lips against him. At first he wants to protest because REALLY DOES SHE THINK KISSING WILL MAKE THIS ALL GO AWAY???
Well she's right because he's also tired of this stupid circle, and he'll kick the door shut, not caring about the loud slam behind them as he pushes back against her, teeth biting and tongue pushing into her mouth and against her tongue as he just fights back, as if continuing their little "argument" only in a different language.
Jealous... There have been times he has, but rather than jealousy, perhaps it's more of a possessiveness that had sparked back when those penguins tried to mob them. One thing to have someone admire her, another to be so pushy about it. And her words from before, that if she were to take someone else's wing, well. He certainly wouldn't allow that.
So maybe it's a mix of all that that fuels his actions, pushing her further and further into the room until they bump into something.]
no subject
Drive the point home that yes, he was jealous, and so was she, as she nips at his lip in warning, almost like a threat, before soothing it with a swipe of her tongue.
She has no idea what she's bumped into, nor does she care. She is far too busy getting in the last word in this stupid, petty little argument of theirs to notice that she's knocked over the lamp on the bedside table.
Bracing herself against it with her hand, she pulls back, her voice low and so very pleased with herself, a smirk playing at her lips still pressed lightly to his.]
You needn't say so.
no subject
[Just a low, almost growl of his own as he grabs her and spins her hard to the bed with him following down after to loom close over her.]
Think you want me to be jealous. That it?
no subject
And she would let him.
She just quirks one corner of her lip up at him, her hair fanning out to frame her face.]
You are.
[She could feel it in the way his possessive lips kissed her. And is she really one to talk, when there's that same jealous possessiveness flaring up in her eyes, too? Probably not, but she does anyway.]
And I don't suppose you have anything else to say on the matter?
no subject
What's there to say? But if you must know...
[His lips brush over hers before they rove over her jawline towards her neck.]
I don't care if others look your way. To a point. But.
[Fingertips slip beneath her bra, hunting and palming the softer curves.]
Try and flash those feathers at someone else—[A sharp nip at her neck, over one of his favorite spots to mark her.]—and I will.
no subject
[There's just something about when he gets this way that has her arching up into his touch, all reason and restraint gone, her laughter turning into soft purrs when his mouth finds her throat. Her own hands begin to wander, her frustrations coming through her fingertips in the way her nails scratch over his back once they slip beneath his shirt, and the way her teeth play with his ear where she whispers her own dark threat.]
The same goes for you, Cidolfus. I've no reserves about making it my problem.
[She will gladly gouge anyone who dares.
Her lips hunt for his again, catching them between her teeth when she finally finds them, a low, wicked snicker resounding from her throat. And just as she's about to capture his lips to seal another kiss to them, there's a loud knock on the door.
"Your bags, sir and ma'am. And if I may, I will need to double check your pool for any leftover drake's eggs prior to using it."]
no subject
........
If not for the knock at the door that makes him swear under his breath. And when he tries to just ignore it, the knock continues, again warning about the drake eggs, and he just flashes his eyes at her before sighing and pulling himself up.]
Right, coming.
no subject
Why... why is this a thing that keeps happening to them?
Benedikta sits up on the bed, her shirt and her hair tousled, and her eyes follow Cid as he makes for the door, not caring one bit how this might look to whoever comes in.
And lo and behold, it will be the penguin from the front desk.
"Where would you like me to put these?" He's holding up the bags over his wings, his gaze momentarily meeting Benedikta's, and she swears she can see that chill that she sends shooting through him with the way she is glaring.]
no subject
He had managed to out on a smile before opening the door to be friendly, but it actually cracks when he sees it's the penguin. Now, before he didn't think much of the stout bird. But now?
The once friendly smile turns icy, especially upon seeing it look past it towards Benedikta. Excuse, that is his
wifelover not yours— So he will just casually lean against the door frame, blocking the view.]Can just leave them right here just fine. As for the eggs, we can handle it.
no subject
"I insist I take a look at the pool, sir, this is our job to ensure that your stay is as pleasantβ"]
Then you will drop the bags and leave.
[Benedikta interrupts him, not once looking over to the door as she checks herself in the mirror.]
no subject
You heard her. Now.
[He holds out his hand.]
Our bags?
no subject
Benedikta watches through the corner of her eye, seeing the penguin slip the bags over Cid's offered hand with a sheepish look.
"And miss, if youβ"
As soon as she's sure that Cid has the bags safely in his hands, she gives a light flick of her wrist. A wind cuts through the room and pushes between them, shoving Cid back inside and the penguin out before it slams the door shut on his beak.]
Lock it.
no subject
Well that was a bit annoying. You really need to figure out why birds are so enamored by you.
no subject
If I knew, I would have already put a stop to it.
[A kinship, perhaps. A natural draw to another with wings? She has no idea, and she rolls her shoulders in a shrug, crossing the room to him with a bit of a saunter. As soon as she reaches him, she grabs him by his jacket and tugs.]
Much like I'm sure old men or those with a penchant for trouble might be drawn to you.
no subject
[A smirk as he's tugged closer, hands going to her hips.]
Now...where were we?
no subject
[But she remains where she is anyway, mere inches from him wearing a grin, and she tosses her head back with a dramatic sigh.]
It's too bad he didn't think to bring us a bottle of wine...
no subject
[And just inching a little closer.]
And I was thinking of something else before we were interrupted.
no subject
[Her fingers wrap firmly around the collar of his jacket, tugging him until he's as close as can be, her body molding against his. Eyes flick to his lips and then back up, and she laughs.]
About how cold I was and how the bath would go well with some wine, so do be good and call them for me?
[With that, she'll slip out of his grasp and move to the door leading out back, quickly flitting away before he can grab her and pull her back.]
Try not to keep me waiting.
no subject
Fortunately the person on the other line is not the penguin, and Cid will make that order along with that request for no types of avians.
Only after will he slowly saunter is his way towards the entrance to the outdoor pool and lean against the door frame.]
Should be here in a few minutes.
