1. Everyone calls me a monster where I'm from, just because I'm different. Every time I think I've found a friend, they turn on me because that's what everyone else is doing. Because they're afraid. I don't want to go back to that.

I too have been called a monster. I have been treated like one too for being different as well.

It made me question if I was truly a monster for quite a long time.

I've thought that, too. And sometimes, I let it drag me down.

Just before I got here, there was this guy - a knight. I thought he was okay with what I am, what I can do, that he was my first friend in a really long time.

Then he found out something about me and almost pulled his sword on me. It really messed me up again.

No, of course not. A lot of the people there were kinda just dropped with the Corsairs like we all were. I haven't run into many Corsairs yet, but a few of them have been really nice so far.

I'm a Corsair, so I'm really glad to hear that! I don't want to hurt anyone or rob you all blind, I just want to see the sights and figure out what's going on, you know?

Actually...what's it like over there? Big city, small town? Trees, mountains? If you can't tell me that's okay.

If it provides any comfort, I too find myself overwhelmed by the circumstances of this place. Being here is an entirely unfamiliar and unusual experience to grapple with. If you ever feel isolated in these feelings, please remember that you are not alone.
