...The shenanigans of yesterday aside, the day has come, not nearly soon enough for Kaveh's tastes. Today is their day of joy and celebration, and despite the hiccups, the celebration goes on just as schedule.

Of course, aside from the vows of the happy couple, there's buffet tables laden with drinks, desserts, and an astonishing assortment of grilled meats. There is a cake, magnificent in all it's glory, with a...strange wedding topper? Don't worry about that.

The alchohol is flowing freely, and music is being played should people wish to dance the evening away on beautiful Latrommi. And for people who showed up with a date...

Kaveh loaded Mehrak with a great many bouquets. Which she will be cheerfully chucking into the crowd at random, complete with merry beeping. Think fast, she's got some force on her.

It's a beautiful day for a wedding.

...What are all these flowers for, by the way?

I thought it would be nice to have gifts for the attendees. And I heard something curious when I was talking to the venue managers about it!

[Kaveh smiles, maybe a little mischievously.]

Apparently, much like in Fontaine, these flowers have their own symbolic meaning. And isn't it more fun for people like you and Mr. Holmes to have a little puzzle to solve? Though, I don't think Mehrak has found him...

[And it'd be mean to give Sherry a lei of flowers meaning the realization of a new love, given John isn't here.]

[Heizou sees the mischief in that smile, and it makes him raise an eyebrow. He's got that piercing stare that he only gets when he's working on a puzzle, silently analyzing Kaveh for several seconds.]

...So you're having Mehrak go around and give these symbolic flowers to people who meet a certain qualification? Presumably something to do with the fact that this is a wedding?

[What are you up to, senpai.]

Now, I like to think I'd give these kinds of flowers to my friends on any day, but the wedding sure makes it convenient, doesn't it?

[He smiles a little more brightly.] And you'd be insulted if I gave you any hints.

[Well. He's not wrong about that part, at least.

Heizou's eyes narrow ever so slightly. Just carefully scrutinizing the older man.]

Hmm. Who else is on this list you've made out for Mehrak?

[Knowing he and Sherlock on it is not... all that helpful. They're practically the same person.]

Hmm, Cid, Benedikta, Clive, Jill, G'raha, Zack...

[He pauses.] Actually I should take Benedikta off the list, I don't think she'd appreciate Mehrak's, um, enthusiastic aim.

[Both of Heizou's eyebrows arch upward at that list of names, head tilting curiously.]

...Huh. Interesting.

Ah, though I gave ones to Freminet and Lyney in person. I should probably give one to Dehya if I can find her again. They said these red ones are for friendship.

[Which, he's produced one of the aloestromeria and tucked it into Heizou's hair with the other one. :3c]

I'm sure the venue staff would be happy to tell you. I'm not sure how similar they are to flowers in Teyvat, but I suspect Lyney quite enjoys this sort of symbolism.

Of course I have. I oversaw every part of the planning and preparation. And though my motives are something you'll have to sort out yourself...giving you something to puzzle through is a bit more comfortable than dancing, isn't it?

[He is roasting you but also he gave you Enrichment.] Not that this should really be much of a challenge for you.

[Heizou smiles at that, shaking his head a little as he looks back down at the flowers around his neck. He does find the whole thing interesting, if nothing else.]

[He laughs, and ruffles Heizou's hair.]

[He just looks amused as he swipes Kaveh's hand away.]

Well, even if you did, I doubt anyone will make fun of you at your own wedding.
