Who: Tifa Lockhart & Eustace.
Status: Closed.
Where: Ocard flower gardens.
What: Eustace and Tifa finally go on their first date.
Warnings: Dunno yet :D
[After talking about it and all the planning and the anticipation, one would think that all that preparedness would leave her feeling at ease about the whole thing, but now that the day is finally here... not even Tifa had expected herself to be as nervous as she was. It's not as if they haven't spent any time together before this, or hadn't been quite as close, but there's just something about it being a date now—officially, all of those times she's invited him to the bar or when she's visited his home on Nogard don't count—that has every nerve of hers on end.
Not in a bad way, but she is willing this to be as perfect as it can be and prays that nothing will go wrong. She hasn't forgotten what Ocard was like last year, and she hopes that the dragons are kind enough to leave the two of them alone to enjoy their picnic in the gardens in peace. That, and her excitement is buzzing, all of that pent up anticipation coming out of her in hastened footsteps and red cheeks by the time she finally does manage to find him.
She whirls around a tall hedge of rose bushes when she spots him, her dark, strawberry-printed dress flaring out around her as she clutches her small picnic basket close. Her heart leaps into her throat like this is the very first time that she's seeing him.]
Sorry...
[She wanders over with a sheepish smile, her face flushed with embarrassment, her eyes flitting to him and noting just how handsome he looks...]
This place is so big, I think I got a little lost.

Sorry...
[She wanders over with a sheepish smile, her face flushed with embarrassment, her eyes flitting to him and noting just how handsome he looks...]
This place is so big, I think I got a little lost.

What... I can't just kiss you just because?
[He then leans back in closer.]
Do I need to tell you what I was thinking...?
no subject
[Her gaze flits to his lips, and she is tempted to again, just to see what he would do, but his next question gives her pause.]
Only if you want to.
[But there is a light of intrigue in her eyes, a shy interest that she fixes him with as she catches her next breath.]
no subject
Not sure if I can really put it into words...
Just you looked attractive in that moment. Pretty.
Kissable.
[He doesn't really wax poetic on a normal day, and he isn't really going to try now. But who knows if this is any better as he just goes straight to the point and enunciates each word clearly.]
no subject
You look pretty kissable yourself right now.
[And she's going to let her eyes fall shut and lean in closer, pressing her lips gently to his as if in question, seeking his permission. Her hand reaches up to his arm to do the same, skimming over his bicep.]
And I think I'd like it if you did it again...

no subject
This is one of the first moments where they are alone—truly alone, without a soul in sight—and somehow, some way, that compels her to explore a little further as his own hands do along her back. Her lips brush and press to his, experimenting, her fingers digging gently into his muscles beneath them, her palm sliding over and across his collarbone slowly in a silent invitation for him to do more, as well as another ask for his permission for her to do the same...]
no subject
Maybe it is because they're alone that he feels more inclined to indulge more. To...push a little more. And maybe it's because they're in the water, where he can touch her more freely and feel the warmth of her skin directly beneath his fingertips. It does make things more sensual for sure, makes him more aware as he can pick up every sound she makes, of the way her breath quickens...
Especially when their bodies become a little more flushed together.]
no subject
Her heart races like a rabbit in her chest, her breaths growing shallow and quick as she leans into him further. She still isn't entirely sure what she is doing half the time, but her instincts seem to know, as she slowly parts her lips for him in invitation, wanting a taste of him at the same time. How quickly this has devolved... or perhaps not so quickly at all. How long have they waited for a moment to be completely alone, without the risk of eyes catching them or anyone interrupting whatever this is? How long has this yearning in her built up that it now feels like it's all about to come crashing down if she isn't careful?
Her body wants more and seeks more, but she has to part for a moment, both for air and to steady the dizzy fog that's creeped into her head.]
... Eustace?
[Is all she says, her voice quiet and breathless, but it carries every other question in it.]
no subject
He wouldn't mind it at all.
No, he would encourage it, and in a way he will do so by not flinching or moving away from her, letting her roam as she wishes just as he will. Of course, although he feels a bit more greed growing, his touch is slow and careful—exploring a little. Subconsciously admiring how soft and smooth her skin is, and how small she feels against him. How easy he could crush her if he weren't careful.
Yet when she says her name like that, with that quiet breathlessness to it, it's as if something snaps and instead of pulling back and questioning her, he just pushes back to her. It's a rougher kiss, almost biting as if admonishing her for pulling away, and unconsciously he pushes her back more against the rock wall as if to pin her there.]
no subject
That rougher kiss has her sighing against the new heat that twists around itself in her. While she is a little gentler, mostly out of lack of her own confidence, she allows him more, invites him even, to explore further than he ever has before, just as she allows herself to.
And damn it, she needs air, but she wonders if she needs this more... and so she parts with him for only a moment to take it, not realizing the soft whisper of his name that falls out of her again before she pulls him back, closer.]
no subject
...
Mo.......
Fuck.
When he feels something else stirring, he stiffens and hastily pulls back flustered with a rough breath.]
no subject
Her own hands have reached for his shirt, gripping his collar... until—
???
She feels him stiffen and then suddenly, he's pulling back. Tifa's heart sinks in that moment, her stomach dropping like an anvil as she blinks her eyes open in shock and... horror?]
Is... something wrong?
[Did she do something he didn't like? Did she go too far?]
no subject
[He can't quite look at her as he feels a wave of disgust at himself, and while he won't pull away completely, he does run a hand over his face as he tries to rid himself of the strange feeling that had overcome him in the moment. A feeling that goes deeper than just a normal arousal.]
Sorry...just need a moment.
no subject
[And now that they've parted, she can feel her own face growing redder and warmer, as she realizes that she is up against the wall, her sarong sliding from her hips, her lips swollen and wet, her heart racing in her chest.
What just happened?
As she takes a sharp breath herself, she sits them both up a little straighter, holding onto him still, but her gaze is cast elsewhere.]
I'm...sorry...
no subject
No—it's not you.
[He grits his teeth for a moment before he lets out a low exhale.]
It was my fault.
no subject
[Her fingers tighten around his arm, but realizing that, she quickly loosens them and pulls back. Her voice shrinks to something quieter, barely audible over the water.]
I... there was nothing wrong...
no subject
...Not yet.
[Another sigh as he wonders how to explain what just happened.]
I lost control for a moment.
no subject
[She thought it felt perfectly normal in the moment, but maybe she was wrong? Was she wrong for... actually liking it? She didn't even know that she could or would, but when it did happen, she did nothing to stop it because she didn't want to...
But hearing this, seeing the way he looks at her, her hand comes back to rest on his arm where her thumb strokes a gentle line up and down the inside of his wrist.]
Were you worried about me or something?
no subject
...Yes. Just because I've never been in one, that doesn't mean I'm not aware of what happens in relationships... And I didn't want to move...too fast.
no subject
Maybe they were moving a little quick there, but it didn't feel bad. It didn't feel anything but natural.
Which begs the question...]
... Did you not like it?
no subject
[He liked it quite a lot.]
...Perhaps too much.
no subject
[Her voice goes even quieter, if such a thing were even possible, and she has to bite down on her lip to stop herself from... smiling? Well, at least that means she had done something right? Because he certainly had...]
There's... nothing really wrong with that... is there?
[A pause, as she finally has the courage to meet his gaze.]
... It's okay.
no subject
No... I don't think you understand what I mean.
no subject
Her stomach keeps sinking and sinking with dread...]
Then... help me understand?
no subject
His expression hardens a bit as he tries to figure out how to say this, but in the end he can only let out a small sound of frustration.]
I don't want to go too far and hurt you.
