[He smiles a bit more at that and leans in to softly kiss her lips on return.]

Yeah, we should.

[His gaze is soft before he reaches for the paints...

...]

What colors?

[starshower]

Hmm, good question.

[She looks at him fondly and with a bit of thought.]

Well, I think you'd be... a tawny wolf, with maybe some white. And black ears.

[flamekthunder]

A gray or timber wolf?

[Which might sound strange because of the name, but that's exactly the type of wolf she described. But as he thinks about it... He can't help but nod in agreement.]

And for you... I can only ever see you as a black rabbit.

[starshower]

A timber wolf is more like what I imagined you as, yeah. Perfect for you.

[She boops him on the cheek, and manages to smear a bit of paint there, but she pulls back in mock surprise.]

A black one? Why's that? It's the hair, isn't it?

[flamekthunder]

[He feels that paint.... Even if not intentional, he's going to boop her right back as he answers.]

Mostly, yes. Your red eyes look more striking because of it.

[starshower]

I'm gonna say that's a good thing...

[She crinkles her nose at him with a smile before she kneels down to pour out a bit of brown and gray paint.]

How about I paint the wolf, and you do the rabbit?

[flamekthunder]

I was thinking the same thing.

[He holds up the small pint of black paint.]

Should it be the wolf in the left and the rabbit on the right? And just the backs, right?

[starshower]

Just their backs, yeah. With them looking out to the water and the rainbow.

[As for where they should go... Tifa pauses, and then switches sides with him so that the rabbit will be where she had been standing.]

There. And maybe the rabbit can be leaning against the wolf?

[flamekthunder]

[He watches her for a moment as she switches sides before trying to envision what she's describing.]

Sounds good... The wolf's tail can also be around the rabbit.

[Adding a little more "cute factor" from his side.]

[starshower]

Hmm, I like that.

[And she's already making that first careful stroke with her brush, marking the slope of the wolf's body.]

Keeping the rabbit safe and warm?

[flamekthunder]

[A low hum as he starts with his own light strokes to create a light sketch of sorts. Since he also has to depend on where the wolf is, he is careful to make sure it's close to her wolf.]

And to make sure she doesn't run away.

[starshower]

And why would she do that?

[Onto the head, she tries to envision a wolf and makes the shape with her brush, using the bristles to paint the fur tufts sticking out of the sides of its face.]

If she feels safe with him, then no reason to run away. Not anymore, at least.

Who knows? She could be trying to get into some other kind of mischief the wolf has to save her from.

[With the wolf set, he makes it so the rabbit is leaning against the outline, but careful to not smudge their paint too much just yet.]

[Time for those big, fluffy black ears—]

I wonder what kind... I guess the wolf's gonna have to work a little harder to get her to stay put long enough to watch the rainbow.

[She returns with the new paint and her head leans against his shoulder as she lazily strokes and dabs the brush.]

[She should be careful because he's contemplating how big and long he should make the rabbit ears—and there is definitely going to be a big fat bushy tail on its butt—]

Oh? Is she so easily distracted?

[starshower]

[That big, round tail has not escaped her notice, but what!? He has nice, fluffy ears!!!]

Not distracted, just plenty of things going on, always running around. Lots on her mind... But being with the wolf helps to keep her mind off them for a while.

[flamekthunder]

[Just don't make them too cute or something!! And the ears won't be too long... But a little long.]

Perhaps she should only think about the wolf to begin with.

[starshower]

[No, they are cute and he is cute and therefore the ears will be cute.]

Oh? Is the wolf gonna get jealous if she starts thinking about something else? What if it's the rainbow they're looking at? Or what they're going to eat after?

[flamekthunder]

[A looooow hum as he starts filling in some of the rabbit's body.]

What if he does?

[She feels her cheeks flush, and she glances at his rabbit to see how he's doing and, seeing the loooong ears, she decides to make the wolf's ears thicker and fluffier.]

Then he's going to have to say so, and give her a reason for him to be the only thing on the rabbit's mind.
