[That big, round tail has not escaped her notice, but what!? He has nice, fluffy ears!!!]

Not distracted, just plenty of things going on, always running around. Lots on her mind... But being with the wolf helps to keep her mind off them for a while.

[She lets her gaze drop back to the wall after that nose boop and a crinkle of her smile at him.]

[Another hum, as if contemplating as he finishes painting the body, just cleaning up the edges a bit.]

A few things inspired by certain novels the rabbit reads?

[She almost drops her brush, catching it at the last second and getting a face full of paint.]

[Another clearing of her throat as she finishes off the ears and starts to add some gray-black streaks to the body to make it that tawny gray wolf that she intended.]

[As was designed—though she was correct for the earlier assumptions, he just deliberately switched it up.

So he just watches her with a light grin and quietly laughing to himself before he speaks of a few things that had come to mind.]

[All of that piques her curiosity, and with a small, shy, sideways glance at him, she continues to casually paint, not really paying much attention anymore to where she puts these gray streaks into the wolf's fur on his back.]

Well the stories... Would be whatever he thinks might interest her. Things he's done, place he's been... If she asked him something, too.

The questions would mostly be centered about her and what her life was like. Maybe her likes, her interests... Why she wants to be with a wolf.

[She can't quite explain why, but each answer makes her heart flutter and beat quicker. There's still so much that she wants to know, tell him, and ask him...]

Would it be too much if I wanted to hear everything? Tell you everything? All at once?

[Yes, she knows it would be, but that's what she wants.]

As for why the rabbit wants to be with the wolf? Other than that she likes just being with him, she feels... safe around him. Like nothing can hurt her, and... like she can be herself around the wolf.

[A smile, and she pauses to step back and admire their work.]

[He glances at her with a softer smile.]

A little. If we do everything all at once, then we won't have anything for the other days.

[He puts on some finishing touching, blending the the colors where the rabbit is leaning against the wolf before lowering his hand.]

But the wolf feels similar. He feels he can lower his guard and relax...feel at peace with the rabbit. That's why he also wants to protect her.

[He looks at her more fully now.]

She's his sanctuary...his treasure.
