A little. If we do everything all at once, then we won't have anything for the other days.
[He puts on some finishing touching, blending the the colors where the rabbit is leaning against the wolf before lowering his hand.]
But the wolf feels similar. He feels he can lower his guard and relax...feel at peace with the rabbit. That's why he also wants to protect her.
[He looks at her more fully now.]
She's his sanctuary...his treasure.

When she opens her mouth, nothing but a soft breath comes out of her because what is she supposed to say to that? How does one find the words to respond to that? And she certainly was never good at expressing them so poetically.
So there's a pause as she continues to stare at the painting, trying to search for something, before she turns to look at him.
And she moves in for a hug, wrapping her arms around him and pulling him close, all that paint be damned.]
He's gonna make her forget all about the rainbow if he's not careful...
[She buries her face into his chest with a smile.]
... But he's her sanctuary, too.

...I'm glad.
[No need to pretend anymore, and he wants to say this as himself.]
And I'll always be there whenever you need it.
no subject
I know. Me too. Always.
[Silly pretending. But she hopes that he knows that she means every word of it.]
I think this painting portrays all of that perfectly, don't you?
no subject
Mmm... I think so, but...
[Only now does he step back to pick up the brush again, dipping it in white.]
Could use something else.
[And...although he feels a bit embarrassed about doing this, he's going to step back up to the wall to start dotting the wall a bit to start painting some basic shells beneath the wolf and the rabbit. At first it might seem random, but soon she'll see a curve and a shape starting to form... (it's a heart where the end point is the wolf and the rabbit).]
no subject
It's perfect.
[Even more so because it was him who put it there... but she won't say that part out loud.]
I think all it's missing is the rainbow?
no subject
Yeah. Think around here.
[Careful to not touch the wall so as not to smear paint, he points out a spot he thinks it would look best.]

[She laments the fact that she has to move away so that she can get the rainbow colours ready, but she'll start with the red and orange first.]
Then we can paint the reflection in the water, too.
no subject
Reflection, huh? Getting a little fancy.
[Teasing of course.]

[He smiles a little more softly.]
I think it would look perfect.
[And in some ways perhaps symbolic. Reflections of their worlds, of themselves, of everything all within this one mural.]

How do you wanna do this, then? We do one colour each? Or... how about we each start at one end and meet in the middle?
no subject
Might be better if we do one color... I'm afraid if we try to meet our sides might be more crooked than a proper arc.
[He chuckles a little as he imagines how his might swing higher and hers lower.
...Or...]
Or we could do the same color, with one doing the top rainbow and the other on the reflection. We can start on the same side and meet at the end.
