What: A catch-all mingle log for March for the PLUS ULTRA! crew and any friends happening by. Some Manta Board quest prompts have been included too.

⛵ Like the rest of the ships around the docks lately, the explosion of sea slugs has taken over the hero's ship as well. It's covered in what seems like hundreds of playful and colourful sea slugs. They are all over the deck, climbing up the mast and leaving strings of sticky slime all over the place. The slugs will either need to be removed somehow or killed. And the sea slug slime mopped up...

If crewmates and friends are looking for partners to go harvesting underwater pineapples with the ship can also be found in Eltrut waters where the special pineapples can be found. Go swimming or diving to collect as many underwater pineapples for the ship stores as possible.




🌼 If not on the ship, the crew can sometimes be found at their small cottage on the paladin's leviathan, Elah. The cottage is small but happens to be well kept despite four very unruly and busy teenagers living inside it. They have a small garden growing outside as well as various plants and pots all over the terrace.

And they seem to be preparing to build some kind of new addition to the cottage soon too as there is a pile of stone and wood stacked up outside. And an apple-shaped sheep keeps walking around too. Baaah.

[🥦 a. spring sprung slugs]

Ehhh?!

[Izuku frantically stumbles over the ship's wooden deck, his feet practically slip-sliding across the entire length of it before he manages to grab onto the railing. He manages not to slip and fall face-first onto the slime-covered deck but now he's stuck here and is a little too afraid to move in fear of that.]

How did this much slime accumulate on the ship already?!

[There's a horde of sea slugs squeaking around all over the place. And while Izuku still thinks they're adorable and doesn't want to kill a single one... This explosion of them is getting a smidge out of hand.]

They're multiplying too fast... And why does it always have to be... s-slime?

[Back at the homely cottage, there might be a loud bang that can be heard somewhere near the back of it. It's followed by another cracking noise and then the strange alarming view of black smoke coming from somewhere.

If someone rushes to find out what is happening they'll find Izuku at the back of the cottage with a sledgehammer in hand. He's got working overalls on and he looks extremely focused on what appears to be a wheelbarrow of stones and rocks...

Luckily, there are no holes in anything. Yet?]

[Well, Kaveh might have nebulously timed plans during this month but he's still been checking in on people he knows, and he made the time to come stop by Elah.

He heard the crack as he got there. Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no.

So Kaveh comes skidding around the side of the house and grabs for the sledgehammer with his telekinesis.]

Izuku what is going on here.

Eh?!

[The tug of the sledgehammer by invisible force startles Izuku at first! He stumbles and lets go of the tool but it dangles there just out of his reach.]

Kaveh-san?! Oh- I ... Hello! I was just starting to plan some things out?

[He reaches up because can he have his hammer back??]

[You can have the hammer back when he is convinced it will not be used on a load-bearing wall.]

[Izuku's hand stays there up in the air reaching for that hammer that's just barely out of his reach.]

Ahh... [He sweatdrops.] Well... Most construction sites take a bit of deconstruction too... Isn't that right?

[He's lifting the hammer a little bit higher. :|]

Wait! I- I wasn't going to take out a wall entirely! Not- Not exactly! I was only trying to break down some of these rocks first!

[He was maybe planning a bit of that...]

I'm assuming a load-bearing wall is one that holds up part of the structure...

Hammer Time

[Since he's part of the 'crew' now, Ranma figured he should probably visit the guys' cottage every once and a while. Try and bring them something as a 'thank you' present for letting him come on board. Unfortunately, he neither could think of anything to give, nor knew what any of them would like, so he's here on a visit to try and figure that out for later.

Before he could knock on the door, the crackle and banging in the back caught his attention. To give him credit, he didn't jump. Only stared up at the forming black smoke rising in the distance. Alright, time to find out who blew what up.

Walking around back, he saw the other teen hard at what he figured to be renovations on their cottage. Ranma calmly walked up behind Izuku and tapped on his shoulder to get his attention.]

Whatcha up to?

[Ranma and the rest of the crew are more than welcome to come by the cottage anytime they want and even use the cottage if they need it. It's currently littered with Izuku's little projects because he's the type to always have to keep busy with something he can hyper fixate on which today means... renovations.]

Ah- Saotome-san! Hello!

[He's more than happy to see the other boy. He turns to him and holds up the sledgehammer like it's a golden tool.]

I've been thinking about making an addition to the cottage lately. Something like ahhh... An alchemy study or greenhouse attached to the side! What do you think?

[He glances at the cottage wall.]

I'll just need to find a way to take this wall out...

[He can get behind that. Ranma's never really the type to sit in one spot for so long. Living outdoors for most of your life will do that to you.

Izuku's explanation got an understanding murmur and a nod out of the martial artist, who gazed over at the cottage wall. Judging from the structure, it'd take a good couple of hits if you wanted to use the sledgehammer alone. Buuuut Ranma's not doing much, so...]

Want some help? I'm pretty proficient when it comes to knocking walls down.

Ah, you are?! I'd be happy for the help!

But Izuku seems pretty interested in the prospects of getting some help with this because honestly, he has no idea what he's doing. He knows the general idea of what he wants to do but that's about it. He's never studied this kind of stuff before.

He lifts the sledgehammer curiously.]

I think I have a general idea of where I want the new section to go, so it's a matter of making room for that to happen, ne? It can't be too hard...

[THEY CAN'T BE STOPPED, THEY WILL DESTROY!]

It's not that hard once you get everything mapped out and all the tools at your disposal. I've got some experience with fixing up the dojo every now and again, fixing up holes in places and putting back up walls. Now it's mostly just those, and not actual whole rooms, but how difficult could a whole structure actually be? We just gotta put all our strength, muscle and grit into it.

[Anything's possible when you put your best foot forward and pretend like you know what the hell you're doing. Plus they're two relatively smart pair of teens. They can't possibly screw this up that badly, can they?

Ranma stepped towards the wall, looking it up and down.] You want this entire wall knocked out, right?

[Izuku nods. But then some smart thoughts go through his head and he... does think.]

Ah- Yes I think so. I don't think it should be too hard to add to the structure but I think we'll need a frame built too... A frame for the new room. I did get some wood planks for that but I think I might need to map everything out properly too.

[He comes up to the wall with Ranma to inspect it.]

This wall will have to be removed in order to expand from there, yes. It should be fine to do that?

[Today's the day- March 14th.

Izuku is sure that he's going to die today but at least it'll be a decent way to go.

After last month's confusion things have been a little strange between the two boys but not as terrible as Izuku thought they might be. He spent hours going over the details of Valentine's Day with Shoto only to come to the conclusion that Katsuki more than likely picked to make chocolates for Izuku despite Katsuki's surface level responses. So it's ... it's only fair that he return the favour today.

He's going to die.]

Ummm... Kacchan?

[He'll approach with caution, wearing what appears to be a apron over his clothing.]

If you're not busy today... Would you still like to make chocolates with me? I have almost everything ready.

[It's been a weird time since the whole Valentines Chocolate thing. They haven't done... bad? Since then? At least he feels like they haven't.

They danced. That was a thing. And it went pretty okay all things considered. But he's certainly had a lot on his mind when it comes to Izuku and his feelings.

But he's been aware that white day was drawing ever nearer and that he'd have to eventually face his decision to agree to help Izuku make chocolate for... well.

Todoroki seemed to think for him.

It was something Katsuki couldn't think too long or hard about.

And now it's March 14th and Izuku is in front of him in an apron. And Katsuki feels... fuck.

Fuuuuck.]

Said I'd do it didn't I? Think I'd go back on my word?

[Like he hasn't been counting down the days with dread and made sure his schedule was clear for this.]

[Izuku really can't stop how his heart is already deciding to do backflips in his chest. It's a little annoying and a little scary. But he's more than happy to hear that Katsuki will still make chocolates with him today even if it's out of some backwards obligation that Izuku accidentally put in place.

He's hoping that he can somehow hint that today was always about... About this. About them. Somehow. Without dying on the spot.

But they've been getting along so well lately and Izuku thinks its more than he could ever ask for. If he could have just today too, he'd be happy enough.]

[He fumbles with his sleeve for a moment before folding them up some more.]

I was hoping to make some milk chocolates first. Something with not too much sugar? I don't want them to be too sweet. And I figured since I'm learning how to do this that would be a safe first pick.

[Katsuki watches Izuku fumble with his sleeves a moment before stepping closer to roll them for him. Carefully and without commenting on it.]

That's simple enough to start with.

[Sleeves fixed he steps back and then moves past Izuku to grab his own apron and put it on.]

I've got chocolate molds in that cabinet. Pick something.

[He gestures. Izuku has three options. The plain rounded ones, square and hearts.]

[Oh- Izuku is not expecting Katsuki to fold his sleeves for him. The moment comes and goes so quickly that he doesn't know what to do but lets it happen. The gesture is just so... Weirdly thoughtful.

His cheeks are already warmer.]

Um. Right!

[He turns to the cabinets and upon searching his hand freezes up over the options... Heart-shaped???????????]

Well. T-These ones. Are cute. Aren't they?

[He picks those ones up.]

They're fitting.

[He picked all three up for when he helped Todoroki. The chocolates he ended up giving to Izuku, however, were very specifically not hearts though. He wonders if he... should have used it though.

Especially since Izuku picked it??

Ugh.

He's convinced Izuku is making them for someone and Todoroki just misunderstood something. Or Izuku didn't tell Todoroki something.

He starts setting out the ingredients.]

See. Now. A normal person would hear that and wonder what's going on. No, Shoto is already aware it's likely Bakugo if there's a crackling noise, but thinks better of it than to think it. The consideration gets his curiosity to go out there and when he realizes it's not Bakugo and that Midoriya seems alright, Shoto simply and calmly walks up beside him and looks down at the same place he's glancing, too. Maybe they're rocks used for potions? He has been very focused on that, to be honest.

"Good morning, Midoriya." He says, picking up one of the rocks, looking down at the rest of them. "Have you had breakfast yet?" He's trying to parse out what these rocks have to do with Izuku in overalls and a sledgehammer without asking first.

Good morning, Todoroki-kun!

[Izuku replies cheerily like holding a sledgehammer and having a pile of rocks and rubble is the most normal thing in the world. The fact of the matter is when Izuku's got a project in his head its hard to get him to stop.]

I haven't eaten yet, now that I think about it. I think I got a little carried away this morning.

[Case in point... This giant mess.]

What are you up to this morning?

Shoto doesn't think much of it. He doesn't think much of anything but it does look like Izuku had a plan in mind. Not eating is not good, breakfast is important, but he looks at some of the larger chunks of rocks and then back at his friend. "Toge left, so I was awake, then I heard this."

Which he turns his head toward Izuku and asks the question he may be should've asked: "What is it you're doing? Do you need help?"

[Izuku does that a lot sometimes. When he's hyperfocused on one thing or another he forgets normal human functions like eating.]

Ah! Well... I was hoping to make an addition to our cottage soon. I wanted to add something like a greenhouse to the side or maybe an alchemy study so I don't take up so much room inside... I know my books can get in the way.

[He looks thoughtful again.]

I was hoping to plan out some construction. Would you like to help me with that?

[Like... maybe blasting a wall down..... Maybe.]

"I don't think they do. Your books." He points out but also looks at the side of the house where they're standing. He's not one for construction but it can't be that hard. He has a quirk that makes structures after all.

"We could do that. I could help you pile these rocks, but we'd need some sort of binder for them. I don't think I could keep them frozen in place forever or I'd offer."

[Izuku chuckles lightly and nods.]

That's a nice idea but no I wouldn't expect you to keep everything frozen forever.

[He nods.]

I think we can start with a frame first. Out of all these spare rocks and wood that I found. With some nails and plaster, I think it should hold well enough... What do you think, Todoroki-kun? Should we do an alchemy study or a greenhouse? I think a greenhouse would need glass panels too...
