What: It's Tifa's birthday, and she's overworking again, so Eustace takes her away. Event stuff tba.

[She drifts down so that she is resting at the bottom, her body curving with the shape of it.]

It does make it sound really strange.

[He tries to reach out to pet her, but... Well. The bubble.]

Let's quickly get the ingredients so we can change you back sooner.

What!? No...

[She shimmies to the edge, closer to where his finger is.]

It's not your fault. It's just that being inside a bubble really is as weird as it sounds.

[A sheepish, apologetic laugh.]

I should be thanking you for taking such good care of me.

Still... I know this isn't comfortable for you.

[He'll press his finger to the bubble where she is...]

[She moves to press her nose up against his finger on the other side, and it wiggles up and down.]

So, what exactly do we need to get anyway?

[He still looks at her a little concerned before he holds up the list so she can see.]

A few different shells, some kind of seaweed, urchins, fish scales, coral... She even circled the ones that we should be able to find in the market.

[So basically anything that they can find on the sea floor...]

Well, at least those things are easy to find.

[As she has to crane her whole self to look at the list in its entirety. Everything feels so big...]

[His poor little girlfriend...]

Let's just hope they will be willing to sell, even when using her name.

[A pensive frown at that, but then he looks at her.]

If you see anything, though, let me know and we can take a look around.

[She nods at him.]

I'll be sure to give them my cutest, most irresistible smile if they don't.

[A quiet laugh as he continued to slowly swim down the street towards the market place.]

Let's just hope there aren't any more of those... She called you a seabunny, didn't she? Fitting.

She did, yeah... I definitely look like some kind of weird bunny, though I probably look a lot different to you than I do to myself.

[She can see her reflection in the bubble and at least she can see her own eyes as those pinprick red dots, but she does wonder if he can.]

Wish I was a little bigger though, I was really looking forward to shopping in the markets...

We can always come back after you change back. Nothing is stopping us from doing so.

[If only he could see the smile on her face at that....]

Or I could just make you carry everything for me.

[A little poke of the bubble.]

Only because you offer. Now, you don't have much of a choice.

[She squeaks thoughtfully, her ears wiggling at his finger.]

I guess I could at least take a look at stuff... If you hold me up high enough.

[And then a wry grin.]

Want to rest on my head?

[She straightens with surprise.]

Inside the bubble? Would it even stay!?

[A small shrug.]

We can give it a try.

[And up she goes as he places the bubble on his head, right between his ears. They kind of work to sandwich her there.]

There's a little eep when she's suddenly lifted and placed atop his head between his ears, and she darts around inside the bubble, back and forth, wondering if it will stay or if she'll just float away.

...

....

But when she doesn't move—]

I think it might work.

[The ribbon is also long enough so it's not stretching even with his wrist down.]

Still have to try with me moving.

[And he will slowly swim forward...]

[She braces herself, and at least the ribbon won't let her float away completely, but...]

Smooth sailing so far, captain!

[Honestly, for all the things she feels about being a tiny little slug, this is kind of amusing???]

Going to try a little faster.

[Not too fast. It's not like he's trying to race down the street!! But at least at a more comfortable pace, and would be good to know—

Snort.

There's just a pouty snort behind them before he's suddenly nudged over by the seahorse they may have forgotten about—]

[At least swimming, they can move a little more smoothly. Or he can, at least...

And all is well and good with Tifa just gently bobbing inside the bubble with every sway of his tail to propel them forward when—]

Eustace!

[A high-pitched shriek when she's very abruptly knocked off his head and darts away, only for the bubble to snap back when the ribbon grows taut. In all of her spinning, she catches a glimpse of that sea horse behind him.]

How rude!?

[He hastily pulls back on the ribbon to bring her in closer before turning around to see...

...Ah.]

I guess we forgot it. Sorry.

[He'll reach up to stroke the pouty seahorse's head, and there will be a bit of a tail flick and toss of its head... But it will forgive.

Eustace then looks at Tifa.]

You okay?

[Spinning, spinning, spinning... Maybe she won't ever get used to this.]

Yeah, I'm fine, but... was that really necessary?

[The seahorse grunts at her, flicking its tail again as its ears pin down slightly.]

Try to be more careful!

[She really could have snapped off there! But it seems to understand her tone, at least, so she won't scold it anymore.]

We can probably ride it to the markets.
