[She only thinks little of her baking skills because it was like he almost died the last time she tried to make cake!!! She's amazing at everything else!
But now she fixes him with a curious look, her lids heavy with sleepy fondness.]
[She can only watch him with all the affection in the world in her eyes, because who would have thought that on their first night of freedom, they would be arguing about what desserts to make for one another...
Or perhaps this is exactly where they are supposed to be.
Either way, she awaits his answers.]
And what, pray tell, might you make? You know that I am very picky.
[It would be surprising if not a soul heard her cry of surprise when she is suddenly on her back, or the sound of her laughter when it echoes through the quiet of their room. Her arms go around his shoulders in similar "defiance", but she makes no effort to push him away. The tilt of her head and the wrap of her legs around his only encourages him, surely.]
Well, it would be boring if I let you have all the fun on your own, would it not?
[Yet despite the airy and lighter mood, her gaze is heavy with affection as she watches him.]
[Though, she is only teasing. He could make her just about anything with any fruit and she would enjoy it. In fact, there may not be a fruit that she does not like...]

[Persistent.]

You truly, desperately want it?

no subject
With it being such short notice, I cannot promise they will be any better than the last time I nearly poisoned you.
[She kisses the tip of his nose.]
But what of me? What if I want something to celebrate, too?
no subject
[He smiles up at her fondly.]
But I could make something in return.
no subject
But now she fixes him with a curious look, her lids heavy with sleepy fondness.]
And what would my master chef make for me?
no subject
Could always be your favorite meal unless you have a special request?
no subject
[And now it's her turn to pout.]
When will it be my time to receive a freshly baked cake made by you? Or perhaps a pie...
[Those are more up her alley.]
no subject
[A small look of surprise before he tilts his head thoughtfully.]
Suppose it would be fair...
no subject
Or perhaps this is exactly where they are supposed to be.
Either way, she awaits his answers.]
And what, pray tell, might you make? You know that I am very picky.
no subject
[HMMMM HE'S THINKING SERIOUSLY!!]
Perhaps a pie? Or a cobbler or pudding...
[And then his eyes shine as he looks up at her with a wide grin.]
Hah, I got it! Never made it but I know just the thing to try.
no subject
But when he looks up at her with that all too familiar shine in his eyes, she returns it with one of curious surprise.]
What? What is it?
[IS HE GOING TO TELL HER]
Or do not tell me it's going to be a surprise...
no subject
Yes it is.]
no subject
[She punishes him by rolling over until she is on top of him, and she can relentlessly shower him in kisses that tickle his jaw and down to his neck.]
If I had a cake, I'd have stuffed the icing in your face by now...!
no subject
Would you be the one to clean it up?
[And then a leg hooks around her so that he can roll them again so he's on top, eyes gleaming playfully.]
Or should I let you share in the fun?
[It will be his turn to shower her in kisses, first to her lips before moving elsewhere, though he'll sneak a bite at her neck when he descends down.]
no subject
Well, it would be boring if I let you have all the fun on your own, would it not?
[Yet despite the airy and lighter mood, her gaze is heavy with affection as she watches him.]
You won't even give me a little hint?
no subject
And ruin it?
[Rising back up, his lips brush against hers with all the affection in the world.]
You'll just have to be patient.
no subject
[She pouts at the brush of his lips before she's pulling him in closer for a proper kiss.]
You get cakes and puddings and stews and cupcakes and what do I get...? I told you already, I am not a patient woman.
no subject
Have any of my surprises disappointed you?
no subject
[He gets a very pointed look for that.]
But I thought it only fair that I at least know what I am in for. I thought the when was the surprise...
no subject
[And his eyes shine as he simply says:]
It will have fruit in it.
no subject
It had better be peaches.
[Though, she is only teasing. He could make her just about anything with any fruit and she would enjoy it. In fact, there may not be a fruit that she does not like...]
Not much of a hint, though.
[Still being stubborn about it.]
no subject
You'll just have to wait. And it won't be just the dessert, I also plan on giving you a full meal to go with it.
no subject
[She tut tuts right back, her gaze softening again.]
... So long as you promise to rest like I asked.
no subject
I promise. Was reminded of my age again with that last show.
