It could be, but I doubt that would make you feel any better.
[And before he does anything with that glass, she leans in and kisses his cheek.]
So if you are not grumpy, what might you call this?
no subject
[Just some disgruntled silence, though the kiss does soften him up a bit.]
Someone who needs more than one kiss to feel better.
no subject
She taps his chin, guiding his lips to hers so that she can kiss him once, twice, thrice, each one quick but growing sweeter.]
Do you feel better now? I would not want this to ruin this glass attempt.
no subject
I suppose this will do for now. But perhaps a few more just in case.
[Okay now he really is fishing—]
no subject
Now you are just doing this on purpose.
[She has caught on, but fulfills his request anyway, offering him two more kisses, the last one lingering just a touch longer, leaving behind a warm tingle.]
Won't the glass get too cold? I may never stop at this rate, so do be careful what you wish for.
no subject
All right, I think that will do.
[But he will have to heat up the glass so it's with an amused grin that he'll stick it all back in.]
Now, who should take the first blow?
no subject
I can, since you have done all the work up until now? It seems only fair.
no subject
Then if you will do the honors...
[And he will hold it up to her with a playful smile.]
no subject
But she will smile at him, eyes shining with fondness, before she leans in to press her lips to the end of the pipe. She takes a deep breath and gives it a good puff, watching as the glass expands just a bit, already taking on a bit of colour, too.]
Huh... That is interesting.
[It has a little bit of a brown tint to it? But no real shape yet...]
no subject
Looks like we're already getting somewhere. Want to do another one or should I take a turn?
no subject
[Mostly because she's curious.
She huffs out with a breathy laugh, and takes in another deep inhale before she goes for the pipe. This one is a little less than the one before it, so she only makes a little progress, but on top of the blob that had already started to grow... appears another little, colourless blob...]
no subject
...Curious. Well they all kind of start out like that, perhaps after a few more rounds between us it might change.
no subject
[She hands him the pipe for his turn, though she does regard it with more curiosity.]
I wonder if it has something "in mind" already.
no subject
Perhaps. How much do you want to bet those colors "green and purple?"
[A wry grin as he pulls it back out and takes a big blow, a bit more color appearing as the blobs grow a bit bigger.]
no subject
[Because it is very much them, so much so that she cannot help but smile when—]
I think I may see a bit of it now...
no subject
[And another blow will indeed show a bit more green forming now. Yet the shape is still undefined, making it quite a puzzle as to what it is this strange colorful blob will be.
This will be the pattern they go, where after reheating the glass whoever is next will take two blows, sometimes three if it looks like more could be done before it is reheated. And as it progresses, there's more color to it—including that purple and green they expected. However there is also white, and a teal as well... And its form is also taking more of a shape once they're halfway through.]
no subject
That is, until, they start nearing what she can only assume is the end, where the colour in the glass is more pronounced, as are the no-longer-blob shapes.]
... Are those birds?
no subject
A pair of them it looks like. Here, you take a few puffs, see if we can't make them a bit more defined. I can already tell one is purple and one is green.
[A laugh at that how they definitely won their bet there.]
no subject
... You suppose that they are meant to represent us?
no subject
[A curious tilt of his head as the birds take on more of a shape, the rest of the glass filling out as well.
...Oh?]
Are they in a bowl?
[Is that what that one blob that had been under them been the whole time?]
no subject
[She hands him the pipe so that she can wander to the other end to take a closer look.]
Or... a nest? Perhaps that is what the brown is supposed to be?
no subject
Aye, a nest would make the most sense.
[And then there's a mischievous smirk as he leans in closer to her to speak in a low voice.]
Think there are any little eggs hidden in there?
no subject
I don't know, why don't you ask them? ... But I should think so. They look quite happy, do they not?
no subject
Would you want there to be?
[As if there might be a hidden question within it. Of course they've somewhat touched on it a few times, but...]
no subject
They have indeed talked about this before, but to see it like this, a thought somehow manifested into the glass that they have shaped together, she does wonder...]
... I think I still might.
