And when she blows into the pipe, those small bumps or bubbles form more egg-like shapes nestled between and beneath the two birds as they lean their heads towards one another. They take on a glazed white colour, resembling them all the more...
Seeing them, she feels her cheeks flush with heat and immediately straightens, brushing a hand through her hair.]

It doesn't take much longer for the final form to take shape, one that again may not be perfect, it's better looking than their last batch. Two birds, with soft tones of purple and green, settled together in a nest with little white eggs between them. The nest has tones of brown and there is something of a teal backdrop behind them. It's not all solid, either, something more mosaic and mix of colors.
Seeing it, the size just a bit larger than Cid's hand, he looks at it with eyes shining before looking at her.]
Well? What do you think?
no subject
Lovebirds...
[She mutters it under her breath, recognizing them, and she glances up at Cid.]
I think it is perfect.
[Slowly, she leans in to kiss him at last, those soft, warm feelings passing through within the tenderness of it.]
Where shall we put this one?
no subject
Mmm, good question. Could be either here at home or in our little getaway.
no subject
Hmm, I think our home might fit best? It seems fitting.
no subject
[And with the glass piece now safely with the rest of the collection, he turns so that his arms are around her waist.]
no subject
You know me far too well, don't you? The wind chimes would be a nice touch. I think we should hang it out back, looking out over the flowers.
no subject
[He is now holding her very close, and his lips brush against hers.]
Shall we head back? "Scout out" a nice spot for it....
[He says, while clearly not actually thinking about actually looking for that spot. Not with the way he's eying her and teasing her with his lips and hands at her hips...
....
And oblivious the sound of fluttering outside the workshop window.]
no subject
Hmm? So soon?
[Both her arms circle around his neck now, and she drags him back towards the desk.]
It is so nice and cozy in here, and we've—
[Tap tap tap tap.
Benedikta pauses, her lips pressing together in a frown, and tries to ignore it, seeking a kiss.]
We have—
[TAP TAP TAP TAP TAP.
She tips her head back with a groan and shouts in the direction of the noise at the window.]
Come back tomorrow!
no subject
...
......
His brows furrow and he turns his head to glance back when he hears feathers slamming against the glass along with a familiar—
HOOT! HOOOOOT!!]
...Is that Biddy?
no subject
It is.
[She pulls back far enough that she can look to the window and lo and behold, the owl is there with his eyes fixed on them, feathers all ruffled.]
What is he doing—
[HOOT HOOT!!! He pecks the window again.]
no subject
But he'll just arch a brow and glance at her before RELUCTANTLY releasing her so he can walk over to the window.]
Sounds like he wants to tell us something.
[He'll glance again at her since she's the one with the bird speaking skills between them, and then he'll wave at Biddy who just angrily HOOTS at him before he opens it. Before Cid can say anything, the owl flies in and hoots as he flies around.]
Oy, Biddy, careful!
no subject
You could have come back later.
[More hooting as he lands on the table and flaps a wing at her, and by the way Benedikta's cheeks flush, it shouldn't be hard to tell what Biddy is talking about.
She rolls her eyes.]
Get on with it.
[The owl just stares at them both, feathers puffing out in exasperation, before there is another series of urgent screeches and hoots, and Benedikta raises her brows.]
There is something he needs us to go and see right away?
no subject
Something urgent?
[More flapping of wings and hooting before Biddy rises up in to the air to fly towards the door. Cid just looks on with some exasperation before lifting a hand to gesture towards the owl.]
Well with him going on like that, we might as well take a look.
no subject
[She grumbles under her breath, and Biddy turns to hoot sharply at her in an 'I heard that' sort of way as she follows him to the door to open it.]
I hope you are up for a bit of a climb, we are to visit his nest up the mountain...
no subject
[There's a slight frown at that as they leave the workshop and make their way through the cavern halls.]
Might as well just fly over then. Would be quicker.
no subject
He appears to agree. It might be a good day to stretch my wings.
no subject
In that case... I know a shortcut to an upper exit.
no subject
You and your shortcuts. Alright, lead the way... assuming I do not already know of this one.
no subject
[A quiet hum as he takes a sharp turn down a path that feels as if it's going down instead of up at first (it will eventually start moving up).]
Found this one day while wandering around in thought.
no subject
... Wandering in thought? Is that something you do often?
[As Biddy stares at them in confusion because where are they going, but after a few hoots, he follows after them.]
no subject
Aye, when I'm wanting to stretch my legs or just need that bit of quiet time. You know me.
no subject
[Biddy swoops down to try and land on Cid's shoulder, but with him being much bigger now than when they found him, he has some trouble.
Benedikta laughs.]
So how far is this "shortcut"?
no subject
Not too far. About a five minute walk.
[At least they won't have any random encounters to get in their way?????
With Biddy now at his shoulder, he scratches the owl's head and beak, favorite spots that he knows.]
no subject
[She also reaches out to scratch Biddy's chin, and he hoots, puffing his feathers out contently like he used to do when he was still little.]
So what is the big news anyway?
[Biddy's hoot turns sharp as he flaps a wing at her.]
Alright, alright. A surprise.
