[garudas]

[She shoots him a suspicious narrow of her eyes.]

You and I are not equipped with the proper magic to put out a stove fire should it blow a hole in the side of the wall.

[A huff, as she takes on a more playful stance again.]

I will not be made responsible for it when I am making those cakes for you and everyone comes around asking questions.

[ramuhs]

[He just laughs as he holds up his hands.]

I will take all the blame, though I imagine those cakes would taste just as wonderful as the others.

[He winks before his arms fall.]

But I give you my guarantee that it will operate safely.

[garudas]

[Do not get started, that is the last time she is bringing them up, but she turns to him and catches his hands in hers as they fall to his sides.]

Good, because you promised we would cook things together.

[ramuhs]

And we will.

[His smile softens as his fingers tighten around hers.]

Many new and different things.

[garudas]

We will have to celebrate... Just the two of us...

[She takes a step closer, until her body is nearly flush against his.]

Perhaps your favourite stew to break in the new kitchen?

[ramuhs]

[With their hands still joined, he brings them to her hips, an amused smile on his lips as he looks down at her.]

And what of yours?

[garudas]

What of mine?

[An arch of her brow.]

You are not thinking of making me my favourite dish, too? After all you've already done?

[ramuhs]

Of course I am. Who says we can't have both?

Or perhaps we should consider a meal that is a favorite for the both of us?

[garudas]

Well, we can only have one first meal in the new kitchen...

[She leans in, her nose brushing his.]

Besides... have you not done enough for me?

[ramuhs]

No.

[The answer comes quickly as his lips brush close against hers.]

And even if I have, I will still do more.

[garudas]

[How did she get so lucky, she continues to ask herself, a content hum leaving her as she presses her lips to his a little more firmly.]

Alright, fine.

[She will give in this one time...]

I am quite fond of that salmon dish you made for me.

[ramuhs]

[He grins, pleased that he "won" this little "debate."]

You mean the one I made for you on the boat the first time?

[He's made it a few times since, though given how abundant seafood is around here he did it sparingly so it wouldn't grow tiresome.]

[garudas]

[And he was right to do so. It's become something of a favourite of hers when there is something to celebrate, and she thinks that this is something worth celebrating.]

That one, yes. It has been a while since you treated me to it.

[ramuhs]

Then let's do that. Salmon for the main meal, and some beef stew as a side.

[garudas]

[...!?

She lifts her brows in genuine surprise.]

Is that not going to be a bit much for one meal? Are you certain your stomach can handle that?

[Giving his belly a pat pat.]

[ramuhs]

[His brows raise high at that before he laughs.]

It's just a small bowl, it won't be that much!

[garudas]

You know that when I make it, it is anything but a small bowl.

[Her arm wraps around his waist now, and she pulls him in, drowning that laugh of his with another kiss.]

Just for the two of us, that is quite a lot.

[ramuhs]

Then we just save the leftovers for another time.

[He just continues to smile into that pull and kiss, a hint of laughter still in his voice.]

But if you're so worried, we could do salmon for the first meal and the stew for another.

[garudas]

Only if I get to make the stew first.

[She is not going to let him trick her like that!!!

But she does take his hand when she pulls away, tugging him along further into the kitchen to observe said stove. She's seen the prototypes as he worked on them and tested them, but never the final product, and she runs her fingers along the top and the edges.]

You did some fine work here, too. And I want to be the one to break it in.

[ramuhs]

[She may notice that their particular stove is different than the ones he designed for the public. It's nicer, made of better quality material, and just all around better.]

I thought you said we were going to cook together.

[garudas]

[She does notice, and she smiles to herself as she continues to admire the craftsmanship, her chest swelling with pride. She really does have the smartest and most talented man on this side of the world.]

I did.

[She offers a grin over her shoulder.]

But perhaps not this one. You will sit down and enjoy what I do for you.

[ramuhs]

[A quiet laugh as he leans against the counter.]

What if I don't want to sit?

[A mischievous grin as he's already suggesting what he will do instead.]

[garudas]

[That makes a brow arch right up, and her eyes move up and down the length of his body before she's trapping him against the counter.]

That depends on what you might do instead.

[ramuhs]

[Just going to causally lean back, that grin never leaving.]

Why, worry I might be a distraction?

[His hands then move to her hips, pulling her closer to him.]

Or should we try a different meal here first?

[A low voice and more suggestive smirk at that.]
